It's a BIG Job!

We're not ready for the Stash Plus sale we planned to start tomorrow (Monday). Well actually she's (Darlene) not ready. Why? Quite frankly it's a big job - she's being brutal with the serious elimination of lots of stash plus.

A few weeks ago she decided it was simply time to get rid of all the 'stuffus'. There's tons fabric that must go to a good home where it will be loved.

Why has she decided to sell quilt tops and quilts? Well, it's no secret that Darlene really enjoys sewing. She's made lots and lots (and lots) of quilts and many (emphasis on many) flimsies simply for sheer enjoyment of the fabric and/or pattern. The piles are high and completely out of hand - they must go to a good home where they will be loved.

Bear with us (and Darlene) as she continues to prepare for the Stash Plus sale.
We promise that Tuesday morning you'll start seeing stash and later in the week quilts and quilt tops.

In Friendship!

Awesome, make sure all the gang helps out with the stuffus destashing.

Oh Wabbit Gang - don't snuggle into the piles of quilts or you might get sold too - though I bet there are lots of us who would love to have you come over to our houses and play for a while.

Oh No! I'm hitting the road for a little solo retreat tomorrow, and I'll miss all the good stuff. :-(

Darlene, it sounds like we're in the same boat, the quilts are taking over!
Good luck to you.

Hi Darlene! I am off work this week and my plan is to be brutally honest at de-stashing my stash this week too. It's not an easy job. I get too wishy washy and sentimental or something, not sure, but it sure is hard!

Oh my gosh...I hope I can perhaps get something from my "Wonder Quilter's" collection. See, she has a special place in my heart! Hugs...

I am doing some fabric weeding also. I actually thought I would make scrap quilts with it all, but it is just not happening. I could I have been so off base? :)
