Brown Paper Packages

I'd like to think I was a good cheerleader every month for the Christmas Through the Year Club - would you agree?
Well, I didn't do a very good job about cheering myself on - sigh!

I am way behind and it's no one's fault but my own.  Bigger Sigh!

I thought I'd figured out what to do for a handful of blog friends but it simply didn't work out.  I'd never made a mug rug but have loved this pattern by Jodi at Pleasant Home.  Mug rugs and few extras sounded like a good idea until I figured out that I probably should include a mug....screeeeeech......they are not easy to mail.
Another Sigh!!!
Plan A was scratched and I moved on to Plan B  :-)

(maybe I need to stop making and sending gifts...it's obviously not my forte - walking away mumbling to myself)

Brown Paper Packages are making their way hither and yon.
I hope Plan B will become one of their favorite things.

Oh, the cute mug rug?
It's here to stay.  :-)

I hope your days are merry and bright.

In Friendship!

It would not have occurred to me to expect a mug to go along with the mug rug, Darlene! I think you are a wonderful gift giver.

Darlene - you are too hard on yourself. I hope you have a wonderful day today!!

I have to think of postage rates. It's really hard to send to so many friends and still have money for a holiday ham! Lol. I try to stick to gifts that are light but full of love too! No sense in being hard on yourself...don't we always say we will do better next year? What a joke right? Lol

Cute mug rug. It's been on my list to do for a while now. Good thing. Keep it for yourself. I need to make a new one for my bedroom. I agree with other posters.. no need to send a mug with the rug. We know everybody has plenty of them. :)

You were a fantastic cheerleader! I was so happy to find I had so many gifts made this year~ thank you!! I don't think you would need a mug to send with a mug rug~ the mug rugs are adorable enough. I love yours. Have a Merry Christmas!

I'm reading giggling to myself, Darlene. I LIVE mug rugs I even hang them on the wall above my kitchen counter (below the upper cabinets), perfect place. Now it's called a "Mini Quilt", LOL

Plan B looks like it came together fine

I'm sure the recipients of the brown paper packages, wrapped up with string, will be very happy. And for the record, they already have perfectly nice mugs!

I don't agree! I have more than enough mugs, have had to eliminate some. I have my own mug but would love a mug rug anytime!!!

My life is a "plan B." And, it is a good thing. Unexpected ideas and blessings are frequently better than I would have planned.

Be nice to Darlene!
