Just Fun

A person should not be allowed to have so much fun! Teehee! On New Year’s Eve in past years I’ve started a new project (new year, new project) in whatever I was doing then i.e. quilting or x-stitch, as I was usually alone. My DH used to work in the medical field and was usually working on New Year’s Eve. (for the first time in over 20 years my DH and I were able to go out to celebrate on New Year’s Eve.) Anyway, this year I spent New Year’s Eve day prepping three “Rabbits Prefer Chocolate” blocks and then last night I started sewing them down. These blocks are so much fun to work on – I find myself smiling while I’m working. I absolutely adore bunnies!

I am working on this quilt too! I am just now learning hand-turned applique, and it is going slow, but I am enjoying it.
I love the bunnies, too!

Those blocks are adorable. I didn't start a new project this year. I don't have any projects ready to start right now. Maybe in a week or two.

I tried sending this as an email and got an error back. If you actually got the email, then disregard. LOL Girl, you come on over here and sew with me any time!!! Coffee is always on, clutter always abounds, and I love to cook, so there's sure to be plenty of food. And of course, if you go back several months and look at my "fabric stash", you will know that I also have an abundance of fabric. ROFL I'm eventually going to take pictures of my bookshelves...I truly could open a shop!!! :o

I love your blocks. The one with the bunny in the egg is my favorite. I've seen the completed quilt in a shop, and it is wonderful. I'm glad you are enjoying doing the blocks!

Perfect! I can hear the smile and enjoyment in your "voice". This is what you've been missing a long time now. I'm so happy to "hear" you "sounding" more like yourself. Appliqué and bunnies will do it every time! Especially chocolate bunnies!
