You Must Buy This
edit: I remembered this evening that Vicky told Carol and then Carol talked about Mary Ellen's Best Press. And, now it's Nan's new best friend. Last week I walked into my nearest quilt store as the owner was unpacking a box with lots and lots of bottles of all three scents. Well, Carol raved about it so naturally I had to grab not one but two bottles - Lavender Fields and Caribbean Beach. A little spritz adds just enough body to your fabric and the scent is wonderful but not overbearing - only lingers for a bit. By the way, it really does help with pressing!
So, again, you must buy this!!!
Thanks for stopping by - I love it when you visit. :-)
In Friendship!

Yes indeedy! It should be in every quilter's bag of tricks. Thank you for mentioning it, too, Darlene. We'll have everyone converted in no time - LOL! Maybe word will get back to Mary Ellen herself, and she'll be so grateful to us, we'll each get a case of her wonderful product for free! I can dream, can't I?
I love that stuff! Those are my two favorite scents. Didn't care much for the citrus one. Did you see she has a new scented water for your iron? Man, old Mary Ellen is going to make me like ironing after all! LOL
I will be keeping an eye open for it in my LQS.
Okay.....I'm going to have to find some of that. Maybe I'll just have to take a road trip....hmmm that might be a good idea.
I will just have to try this! I have read too many great comments about it not to! Thanks!
Darlene I am so glad that you like it. I bought the Lavender when I was at the beach last week. I don't think I've ever used a product that I like as well as this. I'll never press without it again.
I can see a road trip in my future looking for this interesting product.
This maybe would qualify as a "meg it forward"? LOL
I have never heard of this before. I love Lavender and will call my lqs to see if they carry it!!
Okay...I think there are enough bloggers who have convinced me that I NEED this stuff.
I've been thinking about buying some of the Best Press for awhile now. I usually use Magic Starch which has a nice fresh scent as well. Guess I need to pick up a bottle or 2 :)
Adding to my list now.
I did! I just discovered it in a shop near me, and snatched it right up after reading about it in a couple of magazines. Can't wait to try it after hearing all the raves.
I've heard about that stuff a lot lately. I'm going to have to find some.
I feel the same way you do about using a thimble. It's the one item that keeps me from hand quilting. Good luck with your lessons.
I like your cabinet. I will take a picture of my nests and share them.
