A Copycat Moment!

Remember my cutting frenzy last week? The pile of 30's prints is now a quilt flimsey. This is the same quilt that Sharon and Carol made in January - it's a pattern from the Clothesline Club by Darlene Zimmerman. I did ask Sharon if I could be a copycat and she said YES. :-) I've been digging in my stash for backing and found two that I think will be great for this quilt. Decisions, decisions! LOL

A couple of comments have started breaking through to my e-mail so hopefully the "problem du jour" has been fixed. We'll see as the evening progresses.

It's been cold and rainy here today. I've loved every moment. LOL

Off to make my final backing decision, make the binding and clean up the debris from this project. Enjoy your Friday evening! Thank you for visiting!

In Friendship!

Oh I love love this quilt pattern.. I just love 30's and red together, looks great!

backing hmmm I have been buying aunt grace and 30's fat backs, I love the fat backs, but smaller quilts I like scrappy backings, a friend cuts 10" squares of all her fabrics that come into the house and voila! piece them together to what size you need and instant backing.. flannel is nice too... decisions decisions...

I really like your top! Very nice...I may have to continue the copy-catting! (Like I don't already have a huge list of "want to make" quilts!)

Cute quilt! It reminds me of the sweat heart candy you get on Valentine's Day, you could just eat the colors up. Bravo!

Blogger does seem to have been a touch cranky of late (do you suppose Blogger is female *s*)
Your top looks great - very 'fresh' colors.
