Something Had To Give!For almost two months I've been burning the candle at both ends - in other words I'm super busy and I seem to be meeting myself coming and going. Don't misunderstand me, please, I'm not any busier than anyone else but....................................
With all that's on my plate my blog has been on my mind:
I'm not posting as often as I'd like, I'm not responding to comments, I'm not visiting blogs as I'd like. This is causing some stress because I'm feeling a bit guilty. So something had to give and after much thought I've decided that I need to take a hiatus from my blog.
I have many saved e-mails containing comments and when I drop into a chair rather than making another mindless yo-yo or taking a stitch on my Polka Dot Girls I'll respond to your queries and comments but I ask that you be patient. :-)
And, lastly I'd like to ask that you not forget me because I'll be back! :-)

Oh Darlene, how could we ever forget you? Take all the time you need. I'm sure I can say that we'll all we waiting for your return once your life settles down.

I'll certainly miss you big time but totally understand that a break is needed at this time. Take as long as you need to catch up and don't worry about us, we won't forget about you.

I know how you feel my quilt blogging friend. Take care of yourself and do whatever you need to do. I know that I wish for (and need) more than 24 hours in a day!!Unfortunately we're not going to get it, so take good care with the hours you have! See you later!

Actually, I know just where you're at. Too many projects and too little time. Just do a quick post once in a while, so we can be inspired by all your projects.
And don't feel guilty! Blogging is not an obligation! It's supposed to be fun.
We all need a vacation from something from time to time, even things we enjoy.
I will sit here and stitch till you return and think of you fondly as I do.

I think as women we always try to be so gracious and always say thanks... but really we get ourselves in trouble because we try to reply and comment back to someones comments. Kind of like writing a thank you note for the thank you note! Take care of yourself!
