BIG BIG HUG!!! {{{}}}
You're being thought of. You're missed. Good wishes and thoughts are headed your way.
Hi Ron! Enjoyed the chat. :)
Even though the house is a mess, the best thing is that Ron is recovering.
Happy new year to you both :)
Who cares about the house, that can be dealt with whenever, everyone knows that Ron and yourself are the most important. I'm still sending Ron get well wishes.
Big HUG!!!
Don't worry about the house and other odds and ends now. You can fix it up when you have the time. Focus on hubby to make him comfy and feeling better.
Happy New Year to you both.
Best wishes (for you and hubby)
Elzaan
Forget the house... Wish I were closer. Hey, the mess isn't going anywhere. It's a permission slip to take care of Ron and take it easy.(Shut the Doors--- that's why God made'em) ;)
A hug is headed you way! I know how a messy house can affect your spirits and overwhelm, but don't let it! Enjoy that Ron is improving and that he will be feeling better very very soon (if all the good wishes sent his way has any say in it!!). Chin up and I'm sending you an extra hug so you can share with Mr Daze.
:)
A big hug and wishes for Ron's speedy recovery. Happy New Year!
Give my best to Ron for a speedy recovery... I know all about having the Christmas spirit tarnished. I guess this is when we can take time to reflect about the true meaning of Christmas...
Hugs to you both...
very gentle hug for Ron and he is a very fortunate man to have you taking care of him- HUGE hug for you, sweetie- and you take care of yourself !!!.
And if your sewing room is a mega mess, we can always have another destash party and I get all your 30's fabric again :-}}}}
Hi Darlene ~ {{hug}} I'm so sorry that I am just checking in to find out your husband had surgery! With company here for a week, all the Christmas activities with them, plus add to that Bloglines switching over and not migrating 50+ of my feeds into their new system (yes, you guessed it, Quilting Daze didn't get migrated), so I'm just beginning today to manually migrate each feed over. So here I am! Belated Merry Christmas wishes, Get-Well wishes, Happy New Year wishes, and prayers and hugs for you and your husband.
Sending a big hug and a smile.
Glad Mr Daze is doing well.
Happy New Year!
So glad to hear Ron is recovering nicely! Soon all the troubles of it will be behind him! Don't worry about the mess, that just means you've been busy with more important things! :-)
A huge hug is sent to you from Canada! It may be a bit cold though. :-) Just rest and relax, take care of yourselves and don't worry about the mess.
Big hugs to you and Ron. And a messy house and sewing room is a sure sign you have your priorities in good order.
{{hugs!}} Ok, I don't see a problem here as long as you are getting in a little stitching and a lot of TLC for DH. My house is usually a mess. lol I say its the sign of a creative mind. :-)) Happy New Year!
Sending a Big Hug to you! My house is a mess as well. As long as Ron is recovering that's the main thing right now.
Glad that Ron si recovering well. A messy house can always wait...that's what I tell myself when I am quilting!
Darlene, I'm so glad to hear that DH is recovering well. I hope each day gets better and better. How are you doing? The stress must be HUGE. I had zero Christmas spirit NO decorating this year except a small Nativity, until a friend called on Christmas Eve and invited us to a worship service at her home, our former Pastor was leading the service and it was wonderful. Lots of Christmas Carols, beautiful readings, funny readings and of course the reading the Scripture story of Christ's birth. Then, Christmas Day we thought we didn't expect any company but in the middle of our remodel mess, my daughter and her to son's, both adults showed up...they decided we needed to be able to watch them open their gifts, then they played games for hours and we laughed till we couldn't catch our breath. Boy, that always makes you feel good. That is the first time in many years we have had the joy of watching them do the 'Christmas Thing' and it was delightful. The carpenters are here putting up a beautiful oak stair railing right now so the mess goes on. BUT...I am having a lot of trouble going up and down the stairs so my hubby insisted we have it put back in. (Besides, we found out after we told the contractor we wanted it that by LAW you have to have banisters and railings on stairways!!!) I live in a split entry home so I have to do stairs no matter what door I come in. Anyway, it will be great when we get out of the mess and I can get organized and back to sewing. Not much of that going on around here either and I want to get back to it so bad. Well, enough of that. I truly did just mean to pop in and say hello and find out if all was well. You are in my thoughts and on my heart. Keeping you and hubby in prayer as always. Just remember, like everyone keeps telling me...'this too shall pass'. Big hugs my friend. Write when you have time or the mood strikes you, my 'Wonder Quilter'! *wink*
Thanks for the update! So glad the bad days were kept to a minimum. Long road to haul yet but hope no big bumps happen for patient OR caregiver! Hope you get to celebrate New Year's even if Christmas was abnormally quiet. I'll raise my glass of sparkling cider in your direction!!
How's the big guy feeling today?! What a time to go through all this huh? The New Year should be off to a great start then.
Hey....yours is the only gift to apparently not have made it and I'm so bummed. Somebody unknown to me now has the little quilt I made you. Just remember it was the thought now!

Hey there! Good to hear you are both hanging in there. The post holiday season is actually a good time for recovery and for forgetting about the usual day to day stuff - at least I've managed to do that, lol. All the best to you both. :-D
Here's a great big HUG for you my friend...
Sending you a nice warm hug -- hang in there. Sounds like the recovery is on the right path but it always takes longer than we want it to -- hope you get time to sew. I know that will lift your spirits and remember the mess can wait. Take care of yourself -- hugs
