Life Interrupted!
*
With the leg bone connected to the knee bone,
and the knee bone connected to the thigh bone,
and the thigh bone connected to the hip bone.................
wait a minute there is no hip bone!!!!!!
*
This past week life has been like a runaway train but I won't bore you with all the details leading up to "Life Interrupted".
*
The runaway train is taking my hubby, Mr Daze (aka Ron) to the hospital on Monday, 12/20 to have his right hip replaced. All the pre-op stuff was done yesterday along with clearance from his cardiologist.
*
"Life Interrupted" means that many things are having to take a backseat for now. It's time to focus on taking care of the most important person in my life.
*
Happy Holidays
In Friendship!

well, that is certainly one way to slow down the madness of this time of year. I know that he has an excellent medical staff to take care of him- you make sure you get plenty of sleep and good food during this time - and I hope you have some hand work to do in the hospital.

I just know he is going to do GREAT! I know so many people who have had this done recently and they have done fantastic. My neighbor had both of hers replaced last year and she is walking laps and laps around the neighborhood pain free now.

Prayers for you and hubby to get through this.

Just think of how Ron will chase you around like the old days.
No more sports though. No playing hockey, ball, soccer. I know all will go well, my 40 yr old son went through this operation a year ago. He took up bass fishing....
May your Christmas be Merry, and your New Year Joyous.

Darlene,
So glad to hear that Ron's surgery was successful. I had hip replacement surgery two years ago. I didn't have the added complication of heart issues like Ron, but I felt so much better after surgery. If he has any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. I had several friends who mentored me through my surgery. Take care, dear friend!
