I've got something on my mind!
I'm a bit dismayed with my Nana Darlene so I decided to hi-jack her blog (snicker)!psst - maybe you can help me?
I know I can count on YOU!
My mommy (Kristie), daddy (Gino), big brothers (Seth & Eli)and I moved into a big new house a couple of weeks ago - Yeehaw!!!!!
I have a new room and have been waiting for my Nana to come over to measure my windows for curtains but she's been way too busy working. I'm glad she's working but I need her and NEED her NOW.
EEEEK - I'm pulling my hair out!!!!I've been waiting for a new quilt too but she's been working, working, working - sigh!
And, next week she's going to take my big brothers shopping for school - wait a minute - wait a minute - what about ME - I need curtains in my new room!
Please tell my Nana that I need her!!!

Your Nana Darlene better get on the stick and whip up some pretty PINK curtains for your NEW room. Maybe they will have wrabbits on them ;-)
Darlene should be so ashamed of herself, why I'm almost ashamed to call her a friend. You've come to the right place, Miss Shaye. You'll have those curtains and a new quilt in no time. You hear that, Darlene??
No problem Miss Shaye, I will sure let Nana Darlene know that she needs to take a little break from work and get going on those curtains for your room. How's a girl supposed to sleep with all that light coming in your room...you need your beauty sleep! And a new quilt...oh yes you must have a new quilt...if she doesn't get going on those for you, just tell her that we're letting the Wabbit Gang loose...that will surely work!

Note to Miss Shaye: I'm sure that Nana Darlene will get to those curtains and a quilt ASAP. But first things first. When you're older, Miss Shaye, you'll learn that WORK is a 4-letter word, but it helps pay the bills, and it helps pay for quilting supplies. Being at work also makes quilting grandmothers fully appreciate every minute they can spend with their precious grandchildren.

Darlene, a little bird told me that Shaye needs a blanket and new curtains for her new bedroom! Hopefully you can take a day or two off work soon to put a new smile on that adorable little face!
