Fragments

Dealing with fragments and focusing on nothing.
Not to worry...it's all good!  :-)

I've had to deal with some family issues, thankfully not with my immediate family, just the "nuts" on our family tree.  LOL

I've allowed myself fragments of time to do some sewing.  woohoo!!!
At the very last minute I decided to participate in the 2013 Mystery BOM from The Fat Quarter Shop.  woohoo!!!
I've promised myself that I will assemble each block as soon as the kit arrives so I don't get behind.  You know me and BOM projects.  LOL
Blocks 1 and 2 - done - woohoo!!!

The Temecula Quilt Co started a challenge ... make a tiny (2" finished) basket block every day between July 1 and August 30.
I thought it would be fun to participate - gives me a reason to spend some time in my sewing room every day.  I'm sure you've seen versions of this adorable block all over blogland.
I decided to go back to the 30's for my version.  :-)

Thank you for stopping by to visit with me.
I hope to be back real soon to share another project or two.
Enjoy a pieceful day.

In Friendship!

Adorable baskets; is it relaxing to make 2 inch blocks? They really are cute.

Hello there Darlene! Hooray for finding some fragments of time to sew. I'm trying to do the same. It's been a bit hectic here. Your baskets, both the BOM and minis are very cute! I totally understand on getting behind on the BOM. I'm just getting started on the FQS BOM that just ended! I have 2 blocks done! WOOHOO. LOL!

Cute basket blocks! I'm working on the same project and you only need to make one basket block each of the 31 days of July. I know how time consuming they are to make, so just wanted to let you know

Darlene, those baskets are adorable. I do not think I will be able to make 2" blocks. Love your fabric too, but then you always work with pretty fabric.
