MOST of Celebrate January and More Chocolate Bunnies

I’ve been busy sewing my chubby little fingers to the bone. My current hand applique projects and I are getting along really, really well.

I need to prep the tree that’s missing in Celebrate January (by Lori Smith) and a few other little tidbits. It really has a squillion pieces – whew!

Two more Rabbits Prefer Chocolate (by Anne Sutton, Bunny Hill Designs) blocks either done or almost done.

I still have not started my Applique Delights challenge project that I’m suppose to be doing with Nadine, May Britt, Angie and Hanne. Why? Well, I prepped one block and didn’t like my selection of fabric so it’s back to the “drawing board”. I don’t know why this has caused me so much indecision. grrrrrrrr
And, I have another appliqué project that my friend, Jo has asked me do with her. Need to prep the first block and I’ll post a picture – very soon!

I don't think in my wildest dreams I would ever think of quilting bunnies -- but I just love these bunnies - they are just the cutest things. I think I need to get this pattern. You are doing such a wonderful job on them.

I am in love with your winter quilt! I'll have to look for that pattern. (Where did you find the plaids?)

You have really taken to applique! I'm so proud of you! Your work is beautiful!

You have really gotten a lot done, girl, and those are both just too cute, Darlene!! I've been working on drawing my templates for Applique Designs, but haven't started stitching yet. *G*

Ah, my friend, you're doing a beautiful job with applique ! Both quilts are going to be adorable, and I absolutely love your fabrics for "Rabbits prefer chocolate" (was it a kit ?)
Keep appliqueing, dear, (and have a second try on Applique Designs, I'm sure you would do something stunning with these!.....)
Biiiiig hugs & smiles,
NADINE.

You may be temporarily stalled on one project, but the others are coming along so nicely. You really make me want to get started on my Lori Smith "Celebrate" quilts! I know just where I'm going to hang them! No, Patti, no! You must be good - you must! Nothing new yet, no! (Background sound of me slapping my hands as I say "no!")

Well done!

Darlene, do you think Nadine and May and Angie and Hanne will let me join the challenge even if I am late?
