Nothing New!

I don't have anything new to show you so I'm going to give you a link to my webshots albums! They haven't been updated in a very long time so please be kind!

My Webshots
(that's not my current 'haven' - that was in our old house - really need to update those pics)

I'll have my Roman Holiday stars ready to show soon!

Thanks for visiting - you know I love it when you do!

In Friendship!

A SMALL RANT!!!!

I must rant - please indulge me - I really must rant!

I love to sew and can spend hours at my machine sewing, sewing, sewing...............

BUT - here it comes - are you ready - brace yourselves --------------- I get really tired of running out of thread!

Sigh - I feel a little better - thank you for letting me rant!

;-)

Aaaah, my friend, wat a delight to re-visit your beautiful works.... and your sewing room ! I'd be like Alice in Wonderland, with one like yours !...

Lack of thread ??? Mmmm, this gives me an IDEA :

we're all swapping some blocks, from time to time... but why not initiate a THREAD SWAP SESSION, huh ????? Oooooh, what fun this would be !

Any thread : machine, applique, quilting, stitching (perle or not)...
Any color, or white, or variagated, or basting one...
Any spool : big, small, new, old, simple, collector's,.......

(And then we could play the game again with BUTTONS !) HeeHee !!!

What do you think ? Shall we play all together ? (I wanna be your partner, of course !)

XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO

Well I just have to say that I'm green with envy after looking at your sewing room...... Was that a longarm I spied?
I know what you mean about thread. I buy Aurifil thread in the large spools. Need to place another order.

I hear you!! I can get so involved in the sewing that I can sew on forever after the bobbin thread is gone! I hear there are machines that let you know as you get low on bobbin thread. Mine does not do that.

I loved looking at your quilts! Each quilt I looked at was my favorite, and then I'd see the next quilt, and THAT would become my favorite! Darlene, how could you leave behind that gorgeous sewing room - I absolutely would have taken it with me! Somehow, some way it would've come with me wherever I went! LOL! Thank you for sharing all those wonderful photos!
As for the thread, I can sew for quite awhile with "invisible" bobbin thread! Duh! It always happens when I'm sewing a looooooooong seam, too! Boo hiss!

Oh Darlene...you have so many gorgeous quilts, I loved clicking on each picture. I really hate it when I run out of bobbin thread but I have so many spools of thread, I don't think I'll ever run out. Aurifil is the best, you can fit more on a bobbin. Shall I send some your way?

Wow, what a fabulous sewing room. I sew in the dining room but it has a life of its own and spreads into the kitchen. So I am green with envy. I can see you spend a lot of time at your machine. Your quilts are all beautiful. And those two grandbabies are adorable. Thanks for sharing.
