TAGGED!
Natalie at Cinderberry Stitches has tagged me to list 7 Random Things about myself. I've done this before but I have more I can tell you about myself. LOL
1. I owned a x-stitch shop in TX for 5+ years
2. I'd been coloring my hair for 8 years and I've decided to go grey. The jury is still out on this but I have to try or I'll never know.
3. I do not enjoy cooking.
4. I'm a 'perimeter type' person - preferring to assess a situation or crowd before jumping in with both feet.
5. I am a magazine and book junkie.
6. I love totebags, tins, jars, baskets, etc.
7. I wear my heart on my sleeve and will run in an opposite direction to avoid confrontations and such.
8. I crave rainy days! (this one is a bonus #8) :-)
I'm not going to 'tag' anyone in particular but if you feel like sharing a bit about yourself please do.

I knew when I read this post that I had to comment - we must be twin sisters of different mothers!
#4 I am a 'perimeter type' person too - I just didn't know what to call it! I have been "lurking", (such a creepy word, but you know what I mean) reading your blog for quite awhile now, and have been waiting for the courage to comment. I do that with other blogs, and so many other situations in my life. So now I'm jumping in with both feet and commenting on your wonderful blog.
#2 I have been coloring my hair, too, for more years than you have, but I just can't make the jump to "whatever" is under this color -lol! I admire your "bravery" (is that the right word?) - you go, girl!
#3 I do not enjoy cooking, either, so I have a husband who gladly does that much of the time. Am I spoiled or what?
#7 also fits me to a "T" - I think that's why we are both on the perimeter, watching and waiting. It's difficult to let some people see the real you, for that is what you are all the time, right? Right! I always tell people that what they see is who I am.
#8 I LOVE rainy days, too - the sounds of the rain, the fresh scent outdoors after it's rained, and the happy plants all make me smile!
I promise to come back and visit - and comment!
I am always afraid to tag people as they may dread it but I so love to read these. It really lets you get to know a person. It is amazing how so many quilters are alike.
It's fun to learn a few tidbits about someone. I'm #3,6 and 7. Only #8 when we've had too many hot summer days. I dread #8 when we get day after day of nothing but rain.
I as you may have seen have stopped coloring my hair...I started turning gray at 25 and at 45 decided life was to short to keep up with the gray roots...I cant say I love it but is me and this is who I am...so I am wishing you luck...I read your blog with every post and really like learning more about you...thanks for sharing Toni
Where in Texas and what was it called?
What is your real hair color and did you used to dye to match?
Do you enjoy eating? Who's cooking??
VBG :D
Enjoyed reading your 8 things. My daughter is a perimeter person also. And on your last post, I feel your pain. I'm a fantastic starter but only a sporadic finisher. I'm trying to improve.
I'm 2,3,5,6 and 7! I have tried several times to let the gray come all the way out, but have chickened out each time. I used to like to cook, but would rather sew or quilt now. I love to cross stitch. I love a rainy day, just not the storms. It's good to learn more about you.
