Playtime!

If you've been reading my blog for awhile you might realize that the tagline in my header is my all time favorite saying!

I decided that I wanted to make a small wallhanging for my sewing room to make a statement to all who walk into my 'haven'. :-) After I finished the stitching it still needed a little something but what. HMMMM - I pulled out my Clover Yo-Yo maker and made those three really cute yo-yos that I will stitch in place after it's quilted! Maybe the yo-yos need buttons? Something to ponder. :-)

Thank you for your wonderful comments and compliments on my Quilter's Journey flimsy! I appreciate that you took time to say something! Stop by anytime and please leave a comment!

In Friendship!

Your little wall hanging is perfect for a sewing room, Darlene! And the little yo-yo's is the dot over the i (and I've been very sceptic to yo-yo's... perhaps I'll have to change my mind???) :o)

You amaze me at how much you get done! Everything is so pretty :O).

On the yoyos, did you get the heart yoyo maker too? I made some round yoyos then I used the small heart yoyo on top of the round one like you would a button, it looked really cute I thought...

Very cute, I pulled out my book on Redwork quilts - I think my renewed interest in embroidery from the crazy doll quilt is going to spill over.

It is so sweet! What a lovely sentiment to look at every day! I think a sign for my sewing room would say "Mine, all mine!" - I always tell my hubby that the sewing room is MY ROOM - LOL! Actually, I have a sign that says "Never Enough Thyme". That sort of says it all for me.

Isn't that just the sweetest saying to have on the wall to look at everyday. I have a stitchery that is framed in my sewing room "my soul is fed by my needle and thread".

Congratulations on all the beautiful works you showed lately.
You have all reasons to be proud. The "Journey of a quilter" looks charming in the pastel pink and green. And your wall-hanging is very neat. I think I can reckognize a charm pack there! Take care.

What a darling little wall hanging. I am new to blogland and have some questions. First.... where did the word flimsy come from, and does it mean a completed top? Next...what does LOL mean...it seems to be used a lot. I'll keep my other questions for another time!! Thanks
