Officially Done!
We noticed that Darlene has attempted to take credit for the wallhanging WE made for her blogiversary give away. Don't you dare believe her - we made this cutie. And, guess what????? It's going in the mail to Nanette today! WooHoo
Sadly this cutie is missing an important element :-( There's suppose to be a blue ruffle (like the blue yo-yos) running down the center of each outer border - we don't do ruffles. We're going to include the strips of fabric so if Nanette wants to add the sweet ruffles she can.
We can take credit for the sewing/quilting but the pattern is a creation by Elizabeth of Late Bloomer Quilts and it's called Charming Gatherings. Go visit Elizabeth and tell her we sent ya. :-) (we're not sure she visits this blog)
Look another container in Darlene's sewing room. We really like this one - cute Longaberger basket that perfectly holds her Triangles on a Roll.
Be sure to check out Paula's blog - she issued the "container challenge" and has links to other blogs with cute containers and such!
Thanks for visiting! We love that you do.

What an adorable quilt you ALL made for Nanette! I think the quilt looks lovely just as it is - I can't imagine it with ruffles, but then, I'm not really a ruffle person.
Love the Longaberger basket - it IS the perfect container! You wascally wabbits try to be good for Darlene now, okie-dokie? tee hee.....
I can't wait!! It is darling. I don't usually do ruffles myself actually and I love it just as it is. Thank you so much. I'll have to show and tell it to Elizabeth. She reads my blog occasionlly I think. The basket is darling. What a great idea. I have a huge grin on my face!
That is an adorable quilt.
The basket is perfect for holding TOARs.
Oh my goodness. So this is where Nanette won that beautiful quilt. It is my first time to visit your blog, and I am definitely subscribing. :) Next coffee break I'm going to sit down and read as many posts back as I can. Thank Darlene for signing my blog so I could come and find you. :)
That is so cute Darlene - even without the ruffle!! Great to see all your containers for you quilting. I hate to photograph mine as they are all overflowing right now!! LOL
I have a basket like yours hanging on my basket tree. What a special quilt. :)
You guys did an awesome job--it's so bright and cheery (even without the ruffle--I love ruffles, tho, what can I say??)
Darlene is so lucky to have you around to help...any chance on having you come by to help me with some projects? No ruffles--I promise!
Congrads to the winners! I don't do ruffles either. And for the records, no zippers. I'm allergic to zippers! Does Darlene do ruffles? You might get her to do it for you, but I don't know, she might take the credit for the whole quilt if you let her work on the ruffles! LOL Love Darlene's containers. So, what happened to Darlene? I sure hope she hasn't been turned into Speedy Gonzales stew! lol Thanks for sharing!
That a sweet quilt and the yo-yo's add just the right touch, I'd stay away from the ruffles too...LOL
I love basket for holding things, yours is lovely with the fabric liner.
So glad that I popped in here. The quilt is great and what a great one to win!
The basket, I agree is the perfect container! Kayce

WooHoo Thimbles and Joy! You've done a great job on that quilt for lucky Nan!
Oops, that's Nanette -- my eyes saw Nan's comment over there first, so that's what I typed LOL!
Well isn't that one cute wallhanging. I like it just the way it is. No ruffles needed.
Wow that turned out cute!! Nanette is sooo lucky!!!
The quilt is *sew* adorable. I love the triangles on a roll in the basket. Very pretty. I love to use those rolls for my piecing.
