(have ya missed us?)
Thimbles and Joy here! We've been surfing blogland - wow you guys are some kind of talented. Anyway, Paula at Coffee Time Quilt Studio has issued a challenge for all to show off unique storage containers used in and around your sewing room (or studio, if you prefer). So, we decided to play along and show you some of Darlene's things. She does love containers and such.
The following are two pictures of her Vera Bradley "jewelry tote" that she has used for a very long time as a "binding tote" - see her binding clips and such. The zippered pockets hold needles, threader, etc.
I'm Joy and I'm here to show you the large Whitman Sampler tin, Darlene uses to store her thread. Dagnabbit she ate all the chocolate.
One more! I'm Thimbles and I'm here to show you her wooden cutlery/napkin holder that she uses to corral a variety of stuff (scissors, ruler, sewing machine oil, lint brushes, pens, pencils, notepads, etc)
There are lots more interesting things so we'll be back later to show you some more.
Naughty can be nice!

Thimbles and Joy, Darlene has some wonderful containers. I'm sure she enjoyed the chocolate!
Cute post! You guys did a good job. Hope to see more of you soon. And Darlene, of course.
omg, I just posted a pic of a twin carry all. LOL
oh fun, fun, containers!
HEY I have a jewelry container like that from Vera Bradley but I use it for my jewels. LOL
What a fun post. I have a cosmetic tote I use for needles and threads and a chocolate box with safety pins.
What a great post! I'm glad you put those wabbits to work. They stay out of trouble that way.....or do they?? LOL
A designer tote. My, my that Darlene does have it all! I use a Jim Beam metal rectangular container to store some of my things. It has a hinged lid. And no, I didn't drink the Jim Beam! I got it at a garage sale.
Great storage containers! Love the napkin caddy idea :)
I found some little totes at JoAnns and was excited to tell you about them. They look just like your paisley tote but are blue or pink. Ah..so much for finding something new! LOL!
Love the chocolate tin of thread! I am salivating! Twyla
