I've decided, like so many others, to challenge myself to quilt some of the "flimsies" that are lingering in the pile. I haven't quilted anything since Peg's July Challenge so this my own Nov/Dec challenge. There are five quilt tops in the picture and only one is an oldie. Wish me luck, please! :-)
He's right! Who? My sweet and incredibly supportive husband. Why? Well, last week we were chatting about my quilting and such and he made a very valid statement that hit me right between the eyes. He said, "It's been a long while since you've worked on something from start to finish and that's not like you". OMG, he's absolutely right - I haven't done much piecing in several months. So, I've been thinking about a new pieced project and hope to get started this week. Stay tuned!
Thank you for stopping by for a visit - come again soon!
In Friendship!

If I were you, I wouldn't know which one of those quilts in your pic to start quilting first. They are beautiful!
You can do it!!
Hey you've got quite a nice variety there to pick from. I love them all so anyone will do for me. Just so you know Missy!!
Good luck at your challenge... just do it!! :o)
Oh, they're all sooo lovely ! Like Paula says, I wouldn't know which one to start with ;>)
Of course I wish you luck, dear, but you'll manage, I know that!

Darlene, good luck I know you will achieve...
Darlene those are all just wonderful quilts...can't wait to see what new quilt you have up your sleeve.
That's a beautiful pile of quilts. You can do it! How will you decide which to finish first?
Very pretty tops...I know you will do it. I can't wait to see what your new project is. :)
What beeautiful quilt tops you have to finish! Just pick one and do it! And have fun! :0)
I see that pile and I remember you posting pictures of some of those quilts. I love the pink and nine patch -- and the first one on the top of the pile. I bet you will enjoy having them finished!
Have fun creating a new project!!
I have a whole stack of tops that need to be finished too. I invite you and your readers to link up your finishes to my weekly "Finished for Friday" so we can all cheer you on.
I seem to get bogged down with the basting. I think I should just have a baste-it day for myself every week!
Good for you - what a great challenge! Love the tops in your picture. Now that I've finished almost all my UFO's into finished tops I need to do the same thing. Other than finishing Lily's quilt I've quilted nothing since August. About time I think!
Is that how you usually work - start to finish? I, too, used to work that way years ago. What do you think changed for us? Was it learning to applique? Applique quilts take so long to finish I'm thinking maybe that's what did it for me.
Good luck getting those flimsies quilted! That's my goal for my next, to get some older flimsies quilted.
I know you can, I know you can, I know you can!
Which one to pick first...so hard to decide. I love the 9patch. You'll feel wonderful when you have them done.
Good luck with the next project, I'll be watching...
Looking forward to seeing a finished quilt. You go girl!
Oooh, looks like you have some fun quilts to work on!
And could you please tell me again (sorry -- I know you've posted it on your blog) what you stuff your pincushions with? I'd like to try something different than my normal stuffing!
OMG! There are 3 tops there I want to pull right out of that picture and keep!
Blame it on all that work you did/do for market! It kicked you in the sewing basket!
What a beautiful stack of quilts! I wish you luck, I know you'll get them done :) I can't wait to see your new project!
It would be hard for me to pick which one of those quilt tops I would like best. I am only seeing bits & pieces of them but they look oh so good. Completely done is good! Hard to do sometimes when there is so much eye candy left to play with.
Ooh, yes please!! 5 finished quilts for MOI, right?!? You're too, too good to me, my friend. tee hee.....
H'moosies, guess who?
