I hope I can do this every month! Maybe I need to pencil in "A Tisket, A Tasket" on the 5th of every month. I have to do this as soon as it's available or else I'll procrastinate and never get them done. You should see the piles of other BOMs that I've committed to - they are just sitting waiting patiently for my 'someday soon'.
Now I'm off to work on the redwork version. :-)
I'm having so much fun - I wish you could see the smile on my face and the happiness in my eyes!
Thanks for visiting with me! I really appreciate that you do!
In Friendship!

Darlene, I'm amazed at the number of people out there that have finished their second block, I'm still thinking about the first one. The more of see of the redwork it looks like that might be the direction I'll take, just so I can get them done. Thanks for sharing!
Darlene,
No fair, your done......I only have my basket done......Amy
WOW great job!!! I'm really enjoying watching you work these blocks up. They are really cute!
OMGosh!!! I can't believe that you have this block finished already. I just printed mine. Did you get help and not send it my way??
Oh my is that ever the cutest. It sure is a fun block and I love seeing so many doing the baskets as well. I can't wait to start the redwork blocks.
Beautiful!
Oh I love it!!! Just keep doing those blocks and send them my way!!! :) See I still haven't started month 1 yet and I love it so much! The fabrics you used are awesome!
Wow, how quick are you. Isn't it a lovely block and yours looks adorable Darlene, well done.
The happiness jumps off your block!! Grat job and love your choice of fabrics!
Your block is so beautiful. And you were so quick! Well done.
Christine
Heehee, you're doing of what I'm only thinking - the redwork version of this BOM.
Your finished block is gorgeous - beautifully appliquéd...oh, I hope I'm one day nearly as good as you are ;o)
Hugs, Julia
So very sweet!
BEEEE-UTIFUL!!!!!!!!!! You are amazing...what a fast appliquer you are! I'm coming for lessons.
What a sweet applique design!
Last night I finished the first block and started looking for the fabrics I can use in the second one. Then I kept dreaming about it during the night! You are amazing! I love your choice of fabrics. I really debated even doing these because I usually don't do applique, but they are so cute, I HAD to. This will give me some good experience.
WOW!
Love the colors you have chosen. I haven't even picked out fabrics yet. How on earth did you get done so quickly?
That is TOO sweet. I can't believe you have it done already!
Whoa girl you rock - way to go and it's dang cute. Can't wait to start on mine and I might just do the redwork version instead of the fabric one - such decisions, LOL.
hugs - karen
Darlene you are such an inspiration to me. I just wrote about capturing just 15 minutes a day and I am committed to making stitching a daily habit.
wow! you are fast.. I'm loving these blocks. ooxx`jodi
Very nice and very impressive. Block 2 done! Guess I better get my fabric picked this weekend to keep up with the crowd.
Oh I think we'll have to call you speedy. After chatting with you yesterday, it took me all day and all night to get the two blocks prepped and the bits basted down. Just call me slow...
Sorry Darlene I hate to have to tell you this. You now have a new nickname: SPEEDY GONZALES
You make it look so easy by whipping it up in a day....I suppose will be seeing the redwork version today too....hence, SPEEDY GONZALES
I give up! Maybe I need to get off this computer and actually get some stuff done. Going to a hockey game tonigh. It's in my blood don't ya know! Don't think I could get any hand work done there. I gave up on that BOM. So much going on. Will tell you all about when it's all concrete! Sigh! Until then, Ms Speedy Quilt Gonzales, enjoy! Ya know, a thought just came to mind. You are so fast that you probably quilt faster then the speed of light. Now, I bet you get to watch yourself quilt when it's all done! ROFLOL Eistein's was a genius!
ps: I forgot to mention that it's lovely! Where are my manners? Probably in the same black hole I seem to exist! LOL
Very cute! And I haven't even done block one yet! I need to try to do both of these one of these days. It's going to be a really cute quilt.
Darlene...it a lovely block...just saw that it was out today and you are already finished with it..pheeww...:o)
I love this second block......and wow you sure did get into it........have fun........
It looks fabulous! I love your choice of fabrics. I'd better get going on mine before the next block is ready. :-)
Wow! You are on the ball! Great job! I need to get cracking.
Lookit you hop to it! How adorable is that? You are a quick one, you are. Your fabric choices are beautiful, too. I'm in love! With the block, and you ain't so bad yerself!
Oh I wish I was more like you!! I haven't even printed it off yet. My mind works quicker than my hands.... Love your block and looking forward to getting mine done.
Very pretty Darlene. I want to start those too. And I love that your doing them in redwork also.
I am so impressed. I still need to buy the fabrics for this! I might end up doing the redwork version.
Could those birds be any cuter? Congratulations - keeping up with a BOM is a big accomplishment.
I will try again hopefully without the typos.
Your block is just beautiful and the fabrics are so pretty. Looks like Moda to me which I just adore.
Cathy
Very cute, I like your fabric choices. I hear ya about having a bunch of BOM's to do. I also finished this BOM, just last evening. You can see my version on my blog: http://carolscraftblog.blogspot.com/
That is just too cute! The fabrics really make it all stand out! Great job!
Glad all the 'wabbits' found each other. (past post)
And... :D You do NOT have to respond to me (past post of yours lol). :D
Linda
I do know how you are feeling about applique. :-) I've been on a spree lately myself.
Your blocks are so pretty.. I love the fabrics! And baskets have always been one of my favorite quilt themes. Can't wait to see all yours together.
Darlene, It looks so pretty. I am still stitching on the block for January...yikes, I better get caught up. Too many distractions!
That is just as cute as can be! I really like the redwork version also.
