Poof!!!
That's the word that would describe this week - just POOF! It's been a busy week and I've spent very little time with my needle and thread. And, little time to spend on the computer to visit your blogs and such. Sigh!
I did manage to prep, applique and stitch Bunny Hill Designs, A Tisket, A Tasket, block #3 - woohoo!!!! :-) I struggled with this month's block because I don't applique hearts very well and my lazy daisies leave alot to be desired. Oh well! :-)
Take a close look at my appliqued bunny's nose and mouth - couldn't do that again if I tried.
I hope you've spent time with your needle and thread. Thanks for stopping by - come again soon!
In Friendship!

Your applique looks great Darlene....and that bunny face looks cute....sometimes it just works out!! .....nothing wrong with your hearts and lazy daisies!! ..It looks better than my block.....which isn't done yet!
Your baskets look great, I still have to start 2 and 3 but next on list
Cute! I think your March blocks are some of the first I've seen actually made. I managed to make a baby quilt top yesterday and a journal cover. I agree...where did the week go?
Wow...you weren't kidding the bunny's mouth couldn't happen twice could it? Great job Darlene...I figured this is what you've been up to. :-) Make sure to pop over to my blog and see the happenings! It will be a bit before I finish it....but must...I'm committed!
You did a great job. And, to get the bunny a nose. How perfect. I am machine appliquing mine .... because of ole arthritus. But, I'm loving doing them.
Darlene,
Your block looks great......lazy daisies are fine too! I havent even pulled my fabric yet....Amy
I think your applique looks wonderful! I have my patterns printed out, I just can't get my background selected. Have a couple, but can't make up my mind!
Cute, cute bunnies! Perfect nose and mouth...I love it!
Very cute!
They are both beautiful. You are way to critical of yourself. I hope to work on mine today. When I post them, please don't look to close.
Very cute baskets, it's awesome that you have them done already. I think you did a great job and your right the placement of the pattern in the fabric to be the nose is something so perfect when it happens and wouldn't be able to be done again if you tried.
Looks good to me! Again you are inspiring me to get busy. I am having a hard time choosing fabric for my baskets. Plan to trace the redwork today so it will be ready to go.
Are you going to the quilt show this coming weekend at the Mesa Convention Center? I am going to miss it..............sigh!
Cute, cute! The bunny has an adorable nose. Shows he is hand stitched and not done on a embroidery machine.

Love the colors you chose! The little rabbit certainly has a cute face. Great job!
Your blocks are great and your hearts look pretty good to me.
You did a great job on your bunny and you've got both of them done. I traced the redwork bunny and will start on it this week.
Don't you love it when things work out that way, Darlene! Both blocks are adorable and I think your lazy daisies are perfect!
Cheers!
Love your blocks!
Cute, cute, and more cute!! I love the fabrics you've used, and I think your embroidery is wonderful!
ha-ha-ha! Wow.. that was pretty neat.. you made a smoochy bunny.
:-) Both pieces are adorable. I love spring!
Boy.. I know what you mean about time flying.. and keeping up wih blogs and comments. It certainly does take up a LOT of time. I feel like I never get caught up. But I think we just have to let up on ourselves a little bit and realize we can't do everything.
Hope you're having a good week.
Your handwork is always so beautiful!
