The Boys, The Girls & I
Have you missed me? Oh I hope so! :-)
I'd like to say that I've been super productive with my sewing, stitching & quilting but the fact is I've been spending time with the Boys and the Girls.
The Boys - my grandsons, Seth & Eli were both down with a strong flu bug. Suffering from high temps and had to be watched for the Swine Flu. They are both better and back in school today.
The Girls - The Truly Scrumptious girls (l to r Ava, Gigi & Izzy). These patterns are by Natalie Lymer/Cinderberry Stitches. I can't help but smile and snicker just a little while stitching these cuties! Six more to stitch!
And, now it's back to my long list of August goals. I hope that you've spent time with your needle and thread - I'll be visiting your blogs very soon to see what you've been doing.
I appreciate your visit - please come again!
In Friendship!

As long as you don't come down with the flu!
I've been checking your blog daily and was pleased today to hear and see the happenings at your place. Your blocks are adorable and it is no surprise to see them nearly finished!!!

Your stitching is always fabulous. It is good to take time off for the boys and girls. They will never be this age again.

Oh my are those girls ever the cutest and you got the piecing done as well. I was getting worried about you, I'm glad the boys are feeling better.
I just started stitching a Natalie Lymer pattern today for one of my swaps. Now how coincidental is that? I just love your ladies!

Glad the boys are better and love the girls!
Very cute blocks.Glad the kids didn't have the swine flu.
Every year I am more and more convinced that not only the seasons run in seasons, but I do too! Sometimes I steer clear of quilting because I am busy doing other things, but there are always certain times of year that I am very excited about my quilting. So, it goes in cycles. I have found that if I am not upset about it - it tends to settle itself.
OMG those blocks are just wonderful...love those girls....
