Two Bits, Four Bits, Six Bits a Dollar
(dating myself? LOL)
I simple couldn't help myself - I had to do it. Another completed Schnibbles flimsy - this one is called Two Bits and once again the big old copy cat that I am I used Old Primrose Inn just as Carrie did. This would be adorable in a larger version with very scrappy 4 patches.
I hope you're having a wonderful week and enjoying your needle and thread!
Thanks for stopping by - come again soon.
In Friendship!

You're on the Schnibble fast train. Soft and sweet.
Okay, how's this for a title........Schnibbles and Bits (Kibbles 'n bits) get it? get it? I slay myself!! LOL
OMG that is the sweetest Schnibble. What pretty, pretty fabric! Oh yes...bigger and scrappy, scrappy would be wonderful!
This is perfect and you love what you love so you should go with it, right? I sure would. :o) Schnibbles and Bits is probably the next design name, rofl, so funny!
Sweet! I had not even paid much attention to these little patterns until a friend was working on on at retreat this weekend. They are so great! Miss Rosie is the BEST!
Pretty work! Love seeing it and enjoying the way you close all your posts. Keep forgetting to mention THAT. In friendship! *karendianne.
Very pretty, Darlene!!!
Good use of those charms! I have two packs too, and I was wondering which Schnibbles I'd want to use them in. BTW, any idea why 25 cents is called two bits? That never did make any "cents" to me--LOL! Seriously, though?
Great quilt. I love that fabric - and don't have any. I just picked up a Schnibbles pattern this week. If the work stress ever settles down .....
What are you trying to do? Make more Schnibbles than I have? It's a Schnibble-palooza over here!
By the way... when the quilt was named, I looked up the origin of the term. This is for Kim...
Two bits is a colloquial expression in the United States for 25 cents. It dates from colonial days, when a common unit of currency was the Spanish milled dollar. As a way of making change, these dollars were often cut into eight pie-slice shaped pieces, called bits. Hence, two bits being a quarter dollar.
Love the fabric line.. I think it could be something for me... is it enough pinks in it..lol...
Love your new Schnibble flimsy.... Hmmm. I have started to collect flimsies.. do you think it is addictive?
Have a wonderful weekend!
Very pretty little quilt. This would make a wonderful larger quilt too.
Oh, Darlene -- I love it! VERY VERY CUTE!! I guess I'm dating myself too, because I remember the two bits, four bits . . . (giggle)! Nice job!

Love it. You beat me to it getting this quilt done. I just cut out my fabrics for this quilt a couple of days ago. I'm also using Old Primrose charms. Your quilt turned out just beautiful.
