Just Stitching!
April Snowbound blocks for Kelly & Terry are stitched, in envelopes and in the mailbox. WooHoo!!! I'm really enjoying stitching these cuties for them every month. :-)
Look at the first three blocks in their special setting - this is Kelly's own design. It's incredible, isn't it???? I love it. I haven't been stitching these blocks for me but I'm tempted because I love Kelly's. LOL
Speaking of KA-UTE!!!!! I was a bit late getting started but I'm caught up and wait patiently every month for a new design (only 2 to go). These freebie designs appear on the 20th of every month on Paula Stoddard's blog - Pacific Patchwork Paula, thank you very much for sharing.
Now that baseball season has started (Go D'backs) I'll be stitching, stitching, stitching even more.

As a my bloggie BFF always says to me when she signs off her e-mails - "if you need me, you know where to find me" (my sewing room) LOL

I was suppose to do a post on the new Stash Manicure blog this past Tuesday but blogger won't let me join the blog. GRRRRR! Then we thought we could fix it and I'd post tomorrow but it's just not meant to be. Thank you, Rae Ann for asking and for trying so hard to get the invitation to work.

I need to stop coming to your blog. I wasn't doing embroidery blocks...seeing yours makes me want to...UGH! I can't...just can't! *Sigh*
Lots of great redwork there Darlene! It is all going to turn into such cute projects.
A bit of stitchery is fun and a good change from piecing. Love your cute blocks.
Oh now I feel like such a slacker! I haven't even thought about how to put together my snowmen! Kelly's are beautiful! :0)
I love Kelly's setting blocks soooo cute...almost makes me want to start a stitching project :) And those blocks at the bottom are sooo cute love 'em! Stash Manicure? That's an interesting name...I'm intrigued, bummer you didn't get to post but I'm sure you'll figure it out!
You are so quick getting those blocks done! I too love Kelly's setting. Love what you've done with Paula's stuff too!
I knew you would be one of the first to get the Sbowbound block for April done!
Love the way Kelly set the blocks.
You've been stitching up a storm...Kelly's setting is wonderful...I love those little stitcheries at the bottom...very, very cute.
What adorable stitcheries. I love the setting with the flying geese- very creative!!
I also really like the freebies from Paula's blog.
What a busy woman you've been!
I have to agree with Quilt Hollow. I so desperately want to start doing the blocks. I love how Kelly put hers together and your other ones are amazing too.
Great embroideries! You just inspire me to get tracing!! LOL (I always put off the tracing and then never get to it :-o Bad, I know!) Have a great day!
So happy to hear you will be stitching more :) Love those snowmen blocks!
Kelly's blocks are so cute put together. Nice teamwork.
And I LOVE Paula's work! I've never seen her blog before. Thanks so much for the link :-)
Oh, all those blocks are so cute. I love the way Kelly is setting hers. Cute.
I'm like you, Darlene, I just can't get enough stitchery these days - the more I do, the more I want to do! Maybe I can sit outside this summer on our patio and stitch away while watching our garden grow!
Cheers!
Love your stitching projects. Coming home from our Colorado show I worked on my first sampler to learn new stitches. Now we are headed out to vend at the Paducah show...and I can't wait to see all of the stitchin' I can get done on the road this time.
Thanks for the inspiration!
Oh, I got my block already - and I LOVE IT! You're so wonderful Darlene. These blocks are so darn cute! And, I love the ones you're doing from Paula's blog! I so wish I could keep up with ya (smile)!!!
