Me & the High-way!
*
Since Thursday I've spent more time in the car driving up and down the highway near my home than I have in months. Whew!!!!
*
Thursday I went shopping with a neighbor for beads and such. After shopping at nearby Wal-Mart & Hobby Lobby we decided to drive 30 miles down to the highway to a large store - Beads Galore. A very successful venture, indeed. I was home approx 1 hour and we were back out the door - down the same high way to run an errand with our daughter.
*
Friday started out with an early morning outing with our daughter - breakfast and then home for a few hours. Late afternoon outing with our daughter (yes, again - LOL) dinner and then home. We were exhausted - extremely busy and emotional day. :-)
*
Saturday - back out the door up the high-way to meet Debi. She was here visiting her daughter and grandchildren and thought it would be nice for us to meet. I'm usually very shy about meeting others but decided I'd really enjoy meeting Debi. Look at the sweet Jim Shore Bunny (wabbit) Debi had for me. Thank you, Debi. Home for an hour and back out the door to have dinner with friends.

Sunday we'd planned to stay home and lay like broccoli. Up and down the highway had taken it's toll - we were beat. Our daughter & her family came over with steaks to grill and I managed to stitch most of the day.
*
September Snowbound blocks ready to mail to Terry & Kelly. WooHoo!

Monday - a few errands to run in the morning; home with a headache so I slept away the afternoon.
*
I'm very ready for a day at home and maybe some sewing.
*
Enjoy your week and thank you for stopping by!
*
In Friendship!

Oh, how I know how you feel! We might live on a small island, but it doesn't mean that the traffic is any better. Especially not on the high way. Your exhausted just thinking about it. It is nice to get out of the house so once in a while - it keeps you in touch with the "outside" world :-)

I'm seeing a couple other blogs with their snowbound blocks done, need to get mine going too--at least get it cut out and fused!

I hope you do get a day to stay home, it sounds like a wonderful weekend but I know how it can wear you out! I like the sound of that bead store. Your blocks are just darling, you under-achiever you!

Well aren't you the regular gad-about? Did the wabbit gang take over for you at home, or was the wabbit tricks to discover when you got back?

You new bunny is very cute, and so are your snowmen.

That is a lot of car time! But it sounds like a bunch of it was good errands, not the ones you dread, like the dentist!

It is funny how driving around can make you tire but it sounds like you still had fun. Such a cute bunny.
