A few days ago I discovered a charm pack of Hideaway by Moda buried in a drawer. I didn't recall having purchased this charm pack and couldn't believe how absolutely adorable it was! I set it by my computer so I could fondle it while I made plans to make something soon.

Then last night (ok, early this morning) I was up because I couldn't sleep. I was looking for some fabric and discovered small yardages of the fabrics shown above - Hideaway. Where did this come from(?) - seriously - was it a kit(?) - if so, where's the pattern(?). I went to bed at 4:30am scratching my head. Seriously perplexed! LOL

I was afforded the opportunity to have a few hours to myself this afternoon so I ran to my "Hideaway" to sew. I kept it simple but I love it! A small quilt for the month of March on March 1. woohoo!!!

I'm feeling a bit smug tonight - 'when life gives you lemons; make lemonade'. Uninterrupted sewing time is blissful.

In case you missed Cheryl's post on her blog - the February winner for Christmas Through The Year is Carrie P.

Thank you for stopping by to visit with me - come again soon!

In Friendship!

It sure is blissful to have sewing time! That was so funny to read that other people have fabric purchases that they cannot remember at all :)

Very clever! Sad I missed last month's goal of Christmas gifts, but I have been otherwise preoccupied...teehee. I love the aqua and yellow combo in the line. First time I have seen it.

I have a few charm packs stashed in the sewing room. Your quilt is a simple setting but a good way to feature a charm pack when you only purchased one. For me, one pack is not enough. I have stopped purchasing the pre-cuts.....at least for the time being.

Oh Darlene I'm laughing - how cute is that fabric, you must have thought so at one time and forgotten you had it! DARLING quilt you made!

Love discovering hidden gems! But you took the fabric name literally - and hid it away! The quilt is gorgeous! Good job!

I love Hideaway. I bought a yard or so of the green print to make a quilt with. I want to make it with some kind of wood looking fabric-like you are looking out of a window. I have to say, it was really hard not to buy the entire line. So cute.

I'm glad you had some time to play today. I love your little quilt. Glad I'm not the only one that discovers hidden fabric and wonders what I purchased it for. Now that March's project is done, just think of all the other wonderful things you can concentrate on. Nola
