I had a quick e-mail exchange with Monica about her upcoming retreat. I teased her that I was going to be at the same retreat. Obviously, that's not possible. LOL
I then allowed myself to imagine.
Wouldn't it be wonderful to have a fun bunch of blogging friends meet in one spot to have a retreat?
We'd laugh, sew, eat, sew, laugh, sew, laugh, sew, etc. We could play games - what's a retreat without some fun games? Sing along with the radio knowing most of us couldn't carry a tune but convinced we sounded like the Supremes. LOL We'd have finished projects, say our good byes (while shedding a tear or two) and we wouldn't remember why we laughed so hard. LOL
There would be some incredible memories - don't you think?
There is definitely a retreat happening in that picture - wish I was there! :-)
I can only imagine!
Thank you for indulging me.
Enjoy a pieceful day.
In Friendship!

....and we all have footstools for our feet while we are stitching...and..
Oh we are too stinking cute! and I love the little pillows for our feet - that would be great since I have short little legs - very comfy! I'll imagine along with you!
Oh my, we would all have a wonderful time!!!!!
:) Carolyn
Name the place and time! How cute are we?! Although personally, I'm quite certain I would be spending more time falling out of my chair with laughter than perching upon it so sweetly.
If you plan it, I will be there! lol...or you could come join us!
It would be very fun.
If someone planned a retreat I would definately come. I'm always game for any trips that involves quilting.
So sweet!
Oh what fun that would be!! :-)
Hi Darlene
My bloggy friends and I have a retreat once a year and then every few months we have a sewing day, its such good fun. I'm lucky to have met such wonderful creative ladies all through my blog.
I think this is such a wonderful idea. My biggest problem is living in the DEEP south. It seems like so many wonderful retreats are in the middle of the country :-( And that also includes all the great quilt shows too.
Oooh what fun, imagine if I could come too!!
I'm in! Tell me where to be and I'll be there with bells on!
I'm in - I've been waiting to meet you for a long time :)!!
I do love my retreat here in the middle of the winter with friends I only see once a year and love to bits.
And I dream about it all the time.
I would love to be on a retreat with you!
That picture is so cute! What if we do a virtual retreat. We could pick a weekend, labor day weekend would be good. We could sew and sew and post what we sew. Could be fun.
You're a neat lady....as long as we're 'imagining'...throw in the endless fabric supply....(and chocolate)....
We can always dream, can't we.
I would have a wonderful time.
Retreats are great for all of the above!!
Oh my, i do want some if those socks & pom pom slippers! A retreat sounds wonderful! I haven't been able to participate yet, but a group on Ravelry has a virtual knit night with audio video on line connection. Seems like only 10 folk can be actively engaged , but others can watch. Somehow folks get to come in & out allowing for more than ten by the time it is over. I'll let you know if i figure it out... Perhaps a Friday night sew in might be fun!
Wow, that sounds like Bear Cabin Inn except some of us are not bloggers.
ME, ME! I want to go on a retreat! I saw one at Ryan McKenna's studio in the Puget Sound. I wish!
Sounds blissful!!!!
Having a great time going along with you on your imaginary retreat!
Love that illustration--such industrious girls are we!
Yes we are very cute, but seriously...when, and where??!!! It would be so much fun!
I'd love a retreat like that - pillows for our dainty ( hahahaha) feet. We'd have such fun - I can just see us now - sewing, sharing, eating, laughing - I have a good imagination too and love the imagined retreat - and I don't have to travel to do it.
that would be simply too much fun.
