It's Too Big!

It just needed the borders!

I stumbled across this quilt top today - it was waiting for borders. I made it when I attended a retreat in May '07. It's quite large and too big to get a decent picture of the whole thing!

I fell in love with this quilt when I saw it on Doe's blog and she gave me permission to make it similar to hers (her centers are yellow). Thank you, Doe!

I had another surprise phone call this week! WooHoo! Linda called on Monday to tell me that she'd received a package I popped in the mail on Saturday. I couldn't believe it when she told me who she was - I was on Cloud 9. LOL

Thank you for letting me share and thank you for visiting my blog - come again soon!

In Friendship!

I too like the 30s fabrics and have been pondering making something with them. I don't have a lot in my stash so that may mean a trip to the quilt shop soon. Poor little me... :)

Can't go wrong with yummy repro's. Love the punch the red centers give this. Very pretty, makes me smile just looking at the picture!

I have one almost exactly like that at the quilters' right now. It is all polka dots. Can't wait to get it back! Love yours too!

You are just so good with color and fabric selection.

That quilt is so refreshing, it would be a really nice spring and summer quilt for your bed. The red pops in the quilt.

Very pretty. Hubby loves this block and would like me to make one in flower colors- like each block with yellow center and then say 2 shades of blue for triangles- Judy L has one online called Katlin's Quilt

I loved that quilt when Doe showed it when she first started blogging. Your's is beautiful, too.

It amazes me how fast you sew. How long have you been quilting?
