What's In A Name?

This cutie has taken up residence in my sewing room on the lamp base on my cutting table. She arrived a few days ago from Thimbleanna (I was the lucky winner earlier this month - woohoo). I've been trying to win one of these bunnies from Thimbleanna for quite awhile - if you know my e-mail address then you know I love bunnies (wabbits). You should know, too, that I'm not fond of Elmer Fudd - he loves to hunt for wabbits. ;-p

My cutie and I have a slight problem and could use some help. I like to name my bunnies and such and I can't think of what to call her. Sigh! Please help us! Do you have any suggestions?

I look forward to your suggestions and thank you so much for visiting!

In Friendship!

Nice wabbit! Have you read "watership down"? it's all about rabbits. They names are mostly plantnames (except the ones poisoness to rabbits!)Perhaps it'll inspire you:)

Just last night I was thinking about Thimbleanna's rabbits! How lucky you won one! I'm starting to get in the mood for spring and was looking at different bunny patterns. If a name for yours pops into my head, I'll let you know!

Well, my dd has a favouratist bunny of all called Bunny! She loves stuffed animals. My friend Cheryl from Oz sent her 3 beautiful stuffed animals, a platypus, a Wombat and a Emu. So this is what dd has named them Polly, Wally and Emily. Can you guess who is who? LOL So how about Bernice, Beatrix, Bunny... is it a boy or a girl. You know, it's very important for some people. Dd only has girls! ;o) Boys do have Kooties you know! Well, have fun looking for the perfect name for bunny! Hugs!

Abby's here and she suggested "Hoppy"; my suggestion was going to be "Puffy", given its wide girth.

She's a cutie, I want on of those :) You've gotten a lot of good ideas for names. Next time we get a new bunny I may just come over here and look at Linda's list :) I love bunnies too...real ones lol. The 2 we have now are Daisy and Dewey. Some past names are Carrot, Bearpaw (a big loveable French lop) Oreo, Fluffy, Hans (the killer bunny), Honey, can't remember anymore right now.

Wow! You've had some great suggestions! And Linda -- she's an overachiever LOL! Love your quilt from the last post -- good for you using your stash, but I'll bet it didn't even make a dent, huh?

I think your wabbit is a girl but for some reason, "Willy" popped in my head! Could be short for Wilma, I guess. Nancy in WI.

Isn't she/he cute? I love Tammy's names Daisy and Dewey. LOL!!! That is so cute. I think Ms. Linda over there took all the names though.

We had a dutch dwarf rabbit (about 6 lbs) we named Rabbit Stew -Stew Boy for short. HE was great- I miss him alot. Maybe his name will trigger something that will lead you to a name for your sweet rabbit!
