Ta-Da!
(gotta love the ta-da moments - LOL)

Pieces/parts have now been assembled!

Squaring it up!
Sweet block!
Can you say Spring????

Wait for it!!! :-)
Wait,
Wait,
Here it comes! :-)
And, now the specifics! This is a Schnibbles pattern (State Fair) by Carrie of Miss Rosie's Quilt Co (yes, again - snicker) and I used a Jelly Roll (Maypole by April Cornell). I had plans to make it bigger but once I got started and saw it coming together I decided it would be best to keep it small (approx 36" x 36"). I think it's going to look wonderful on my kitchen table this Spring with a sweet pitcher full of flowers - I can see it in my mind's eye and I'm super excited! Carrie's pattern suggests an adorable piano key border but I had this yardage I needed to use. LOL And, did you notice my 'red peeper'? It shows just enough and covers some of the off-white background fabric. I love it! Peg at Happy In Quilting uses 'peepers' in many of her quilts and I've loved the effect so I decided it was time to do the same. :-)
That's it for today - thanks for stopping by - come again soon!
In Friendship!

LOVE that no-fuss cutting and measuring method - isn't Miss Carrie the best! Great quilt, Darlene - I can see it now - and a pitcher of pink lemonade to boot!
Cheers!

I love it! It's happy and cheery and definitely beautiful! And the border you chose is perfect for it! I love the red peeper too ~ it is the perfect little touch. The fact that it is red... well, that's what makes it perfect. (I used one of those in Ruby Slippers.)

So what are you making tomorrow? :)

It really looks like you started with the border as the focus fabric - looks perfect the the blocks. Love the peeper too. It adds a lot to the look.

Just gorgeous, but I have to disagree with Pat, if it were to live anywhere else other than on your kitchen table it would have to be in my home.....*s*
