Confetti Quilt
I finished this quilt several weeks ago and decided I need to show it off. It's a pattern from an old issue of AP& Q called Confetti. The pattern instructions said I should cut over 1,000 squares - NOT! LOL So, I sat and figured out how to strip piece the whole thing. I love to use fat quarter bundles; especially the ones from Moda. This is a line called Seaside Rose and because it was so light I couldn't decide what I should make with it - well I'm really happy with this quilt and probably should think about quilting it soon.
It's been a quiet week end. Spent some time working both days but for the most part I've been relaxing. I keep saying that I need to clean my playroom (sewing room) but just not motivated. LOL.
Thought for today: My heart is fed by needle and thread
Gratitudes:
Quiet days
My ability to sew and truly enjoy it

very nice.
Very sweet and pretty. Love those colors sometimes, just to sit and look at.
Seaside Rose is one of my favorite lines. I'm still looking at my fabric, though! :)
Your quilt is gorgeous! So soft and sweet! You did a great job! And congrats on using up some stash!
((HUGS))
1,000 squares! Yikes! Very smart of you to figure out your own, faster way of doing it. Those are pretty colors. You need to give it its own name. Sherbet delight or seaside gathering.
I love this quilt - your colors are so calm and peaceful - thanks so much for posting a picture
p.s. - it is most definately Susan - my quilt shop friend - tell her I said hello if you see her anytime soon - Juliann
I love the pale soft colors coming out in collections these days. So feminine and romantic looking. The quilt is lovely!
Your quilt is a beauty, so soft and feminine. Very clever of you to work out a strip piecing method.
Welcome to the ring, Darlene!!!
Such a pretty quilt, it's so feminine looking. Well done on working out the directions in a better way, strip piecing is the way to go!
*hugs*

:-)
That is pretty - I'm also for finding easier ways to piece quilts. Not sure why the directions are sometimes more complicated than they need to be.
Your quilt is beautiful. Love the colors.
Oooooooooooh!!! VERY pretty!! It's like a breath of fresh spring air. :o)
Your confetti quilt is just very very beautifull
That is a beautiful quilt - and just the right fabric.
