New Applique Project
Are you sick of reading about my applique projects?? I'm like a little kid with a new toy. LOL I'm sorry, but please bear with me! I promise to post pics of my quilts and other projects in progress, too.
This is my new project - it's a block of the month from "Baltimore's Country Cousins" by Susan McKelvey. Nice big blocks with chunky pieces. I've received the first two blocks (they'll come two at a time) and I really want to keep up with it. I'm hoping that I can keep up with this project and start my Snowman Country project, too. OK, I can dream! :-)

nope, not tired of it----heck, I admire anyone who does applique! I think of it as the A word and am needleturn phobic. I enjoy it when others do it but me, only limited desire in that department. You should have heard the moaning and groaning when I HAD to for a round robin
I love appliqued quilts so please continue showing your progress with the blocks. I will be following your progress. You have done lovely work on your block.
Beautiful block! This one is accumulating over in my sewing room! Tsk, tsk.... need to get to working on that one!
((HUGS))
I have this book - it's definitely on my "to do someday" list. Of course we aren't tired of hearing about your appliqué! Your excitement about it comes through loudly and clearly in your posts - that's really fun!
They are nice chunky pieces but it looks like you are prepped for needle turn applique. I like fused with a hand blanket stitch and large pieces but I don't do much applique.
This is a great looking block! Where are you doing the BOM? I love needle turn!
