Can you say SCRAPPY!
I went to sew with another group today and finally finished assembling this quilt top (flimsy). These are blocks that eight of us exchanged for 20 months (way too long). There is such a variety of fabric in this quilt that some of the girls were a bit concerned about how it would look when it was finished but we all love it. LOL Most of us used this particular setting.

Oh! Just wonderful.
I will not start something new.
I will not start something new.
I will not start something new.
That's my mantra and I'm stickin' too it.
(for 5 minutes or so anywho!)
What a sweet looking quilt! Scrappy is good! I'm just so impressed will your production Ms. SQG. I can just picture all of those lovely quilt in my house! Because of you and your chicken block, I started something new again! Your fault if I become UFO Queen for a week! lol Happy piecing!
Definitely scrappy and definitely beautiful! You're on a roll!
Oh Darlene - I just LOVE it! What a wonderful thing to do with one's scraps!

That's a great pattern for a scrappy look!
This is wonderful - love the movement
I love this quilt! You are tempting me to start another project! *LOL*
Darlene, this one is incredible ! It took me a few minutes to "dismount" the block, and see how it is constructed... I'm in awe, how a "simple" block and a clever setting, can give such a result !
My problem with your quilt is that, each time you show a new one, my reaction is :"this one is my favourite !"... LOL
GREAT job, dear ! You're my "guru" !
Biiig hugs & smiles !

It looks wonderful - this is one of my favorite patterns and I love these colors.
Fantastic, love the setting.
BTW I've been wondering......does this Big Red Cabinet of your have a bottom to it ???? lol
Darlene it is wonderful...the joys of scrap quilting...I love it!
Love that pattern!
Wow, that's amazing. A beautiful thing!
Oh I love the scrappy look of this.
Beautiful!!!
Scrappy is best - I know I say it all the time, but gosh - it's true *s*
Gorgeous! I just love it! Have you finished any of your flimsies lately?
Love it, for someone who didn't do anything the day before, you certainly made up for it. I'm with Leigh, does your red cabinet have a bottom to it?
Wow........... This would look great in the fabric I am getting in the grab bags from Homestead Hearth. Let me see now - this quilt, the one you pictured below, a broken dish quilt like Patti made...... I simply cannot keep up with you all.
OH WOW!! I love that quilt top!!! Now I want to make a bunch of double 4-patch blocks and make my own....LOL....I just cannot get over how pretty that is! Great job!
I love it! I"m now searching for some of your past moda sample block quilts. I got a bunch of them at Hancock's of Paducah and want to make a table topper for my aunt with them! I won't even tell you how cheap they discounted them!
What a wonderful top! But 20 months? Wowzer!
I love it!
It looks wonderful, Darlene and of course, all that color works!
It is scrappy -- but such a great quilt. LOVE IT!!
I love to visit your blog.
Looove your scrappy quilt. Love Bronwyn Hayes patterns. Love everything here. BTW, thanks for your comment on my blog. I'll be stopping by often for inspiration!
I love scrappy more than any other kind of quilt. Yours looks like so much fun, even if it was a long haul. It's worth it now seeing the quilt.
Wow, I really like the diagonal lines you get with that pattern! But then, looking at it, suddenly you see the squares underneath it... cool effect!
Another great scrappy quilt. 20 months is a long time!
Love-love-love it! Do you sleep?
Another great use for the 1800 fabrics!
What a wonderful quilt you have in the making Darlene!
Darlene, this is exquisite.
