Nothing to Blog About - Sigh!
Life has just been life the past few days. Nothing truly exciting in my quilting life. I was suppose to go to Spring Market in Salt Lake City next week but due to circumstances beyond my control I've had to cancel those plans.
I haven't finished anything, I haven't started a new project, I haven't cut out a new project, etc. Wait, wait I have planned a couple of projects. Maybe that should count for something. :-)
I did go sew with a few my sewing buddies last night and the most exciting thing we did was walk over to Baskin-Robbins to get a double scoop ice cream cone. We are all very ready for our retreat in May. LOL
I pulled this cutie out of the BIG Red cabinet just for a little show and tell. It's a pattern from Teri Christopherson and I made it about five years ago.

Ah, dear ! Your "Big Red Cabinet" is overflowing with treasures !
This one is so fresh and romantic... it gives me an inspiration for some "Seaside Rose" fabric of mine... This was given to me by a very special friend !
XOXOXOXOXOXOXO
NADINE
PS : Why didn't you call me to have a big ice cream cone with you ???? (oops, forgot I'm on diet !) LOL
Gorgeous quilt, the quilting is beautiful.
There is a great ice cream parlor down the coast from me. It has ice cream with bailey irish cream liquer in it. It's Yummy!!
Next time I'm there I'll think of you :-P
Wow - Quilt Market, what fun that would have been. Hopefully you'll get the opportunity to go another time. Your quilt is a cutie - don't drip any ice cream on it *s*
Seems to me you have been too busy shipping lovely packages off around the world :))
Now you have me thinking of ice cream -- yumm - pralines and cream. LOL
This one is beautiful. How many unshown quilts do you have in that red cabinet??? Sometimes we have just to relax from our sewing. Our heads get filled with ideas and its spinning around. Some days relaxing and you are ready to quilt again.
Baskin-Robbins sounds pretty darn exciting to me, missy! 31 flavors? How can you not be thrilled to death? Oh, not to mention getting together with friends to quilt. See, you're having a wonderful time--you just don't realize it! LOL!
What a very pretty quilt...We aren't going to Quilt Market either. This will be the first Market I've missed in a very long time. Life just got too crazy :)Maybe you'll go to Houston Quilt Market and I'll meet you in person :) How fun that would be!
That's such a soft and feminine quilt Darlene, just how I imagine you are. Yummy ice cream .... and here's a (((HUG))) just for you.
Ditto. But the Big Red Cabinet is producing some wonderful things!
I am longing for some ordinary days - something with a little sunshine and no turmoil - think I need to retire
That is such a pretty quilt Darlene. I adore Teri Christopherson designs! Starting Tuesday, I hope your quilting life will be fired up by our little fat quarter challenge!
It's absolutely lovely, Darlene! So soft and Springy. You know, if you had called, I would have come and had ice cream with you. :D
I love it. Makes me think of Easter. You have so many nice pieces!
