Prairie Sweets and Men in Blue :-)
I've been asked if my Prairie Sweets (Fig Tree Quilts) project involves curved piecing. NO! Here's a picture of the pieces parts and a picture of the assembled block. This pattern is the latest issue of Fresh Vintage by Fig Tree Quilts. I was finally able to get back to this fun project yesterday. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
June & July bluework snowmen (aka Men in Blue) :-)
Please take a few minutes for yourself! Thanks for popping by - come again, please!
In Friendship!

So this is how you do them.....LOL...cute. Make the windmill and then applique the sircle on. This pattern is so beautiful. Would love to make it in japaneese fabrics.

Lovely! You do such beautiful work! Love the line of fabric. I'm going to have to look for that one! Our LQS does not carry that type of fabric. Sometimes I think I ought to open a quilt shop just so that I can have access to fabrics and patterns I like! ;o) Thanks for sharing!

I was thinking that circle must be applique - glad to have that confirmed. Now of course I really, reallly want to make this quilt! Your work is beautiful.

Ah - I never got around to ask about those blocks but I figured it has to be something like that, seeing the seams.

Your snowman blocks are lovely. Is it a purchased pattern.

Somehow I missed this post when I was commenting earlier! How could I do that, when I think everything you've done is wonderful! The men in blue are the sweetest guys, and thank you for solving the mystery of that block. I am very excited to see that quilt put together - it's going to be drop-dead gorgeous!!
