One Lump or Two?

In my post earlier this week I failed to show you this adorable little tidbit.

It's a "Sugar Cube" pincushion and was a featured project on Moda Bake Shop. It looks HUGE in the picture but it's only 2" square. :-)
I sat down on Friday for a couple of hours and had it finished before I knew it.

You're right...the photo made it appear large...at first I thought you whipped up an ottoman! I'll take a lump or two please.

Sugar Cube. I think that is a good name for the pincushion. You always seem to be one step ahead of me on all this new stuff.

That is one very sweet sugar cube. I want to make it too because the pattern looked interesting and now I may have to do it if you say it only takes a couple hours.

Hi Darlene!

Very nice pincushion; sometimes we just need a little project that we can finish! I really like your Tisket-a-tasket block, too. I have not "loved" even one of my fabric choices totally; but I think when the whole quilt comes together, all of us will be happy with the overall appearance of our quilts. I am like you: the block is done (and I am not about to redo any of mine!)

Have a good day!

This is totally adorable!

I am way late commenting.. but wanted to say your basket blocks are so wonderful. I really like the appliqué, but I totally know what you mean about the prep time. So the redwork is nice too! :-)
