And, I Sewed...........
A much needed 'me' day spent in my sewing room + a project, from start to finish, at the end of the day = bliss!
Some will call this a square in a square block and some will call it a boxed square block. I used a Harvest Home charm pack and some yardage from At Water's Edge and Harvest Home all by Blackbird Designs and Moda. This is the best picture I could get - the colors are so subtle!
I appreciate your visit - come again soon!
Until then I remain.........
In Friendship!

a day to sew... how I wish... but I sneak in some when I get a chance. That quilt turned out beautifully. I love the subtle ones.

Love it! Your squares are going to quilt up beautifully. Nice fabric choices. Thanks for the pic.
Well, I call it beautiful. I love the warm, soft colors. Makes me want to snuggle on the couch!
Why don't I work on projects like this? Start and finish...got to love it! The colors are wonderful too....another stunner from Ms Speedy! Of course, added bonus is a post from ya!
Oh I love it...it's so pretty! Great pattern to showcase that pretty fabric.
A beautiful, delicate quilt you have made!
It has the look of vintage and romance. Very soft and pretty.
I just love that fabric, Darlene. It's so soft and subtle looking.
Not a bad day's work, huh? The smoke must have been billowing out of your machine. I bet it felt good to be 'sewing' busy.
Thanks for the inspiration.
Subtle colors but oh so pretty!
Very pretty, I think those muted colored fabrics are beautiful!!
THat's a good block for a speedy quilt. It's the same one I'm doing at the moment. You're making up for lost time on the machine, isn't it great?
That is amazing--I love the feeling of getting a project accomplished like that from start to finish! It is very lovely--I can't wait to see it quilted! Have a great week!
I just had to buy a pack of those charm squares too! I have already made a small lap quilt, but I love what you've done with yours its interesting to see what other people do with the same fabric!
