HMMM - I'm going to side on 'early' - LOL! This is all I've managed to accomplish the past few days but my sewing room is still very, very clean. :-) By the way, thank you so much for all the wonderful comments and compliments on my sewing room aka "Darlene's Haven".
Let me tell you about these Santas! I have such a tendency to finish the embroidery and then come to a screeching halt. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll not only finish the embroidery but the entire quilted wallhanging in time for Christmas. There are 12 Santas and 20 motifs for the corner posts in the sashing. The pattern is called "Here Comes Santa Quilt" and it's by Bird Brain Designs.
Thanks for popping by to visit with me - I hope you'll come again and often!
In Friendship!

Sounds to me like we need the quilter's cheer here....no screeching halts!!
The Santas are sweet! I've just discovered Bird Brain Designs. I just know we will see this finished before Christmas.
BTW, love what you've done with Darlene's Haven :-)
Redwork and santas together...just like love and marriage...simply DEVINE!
I love it, Darlene.
I'd say early - what a fabulous sewing space you have!
I just love those Santas...you are going to have a wonderful Christmas quilt!
You have to do more than just the embroidery on these blocks. They will make a great holiday quilt!
Love Bird Brain Designs. I just bought one of their patterns. Beautiful Santas!
So early! Good for you. This is a fabulous project. Your stitching is so good.
Oh I love their designs, Darlene! Like the little choo-choo - you can do it!!!
Cheers!
Doncha just love those Bird Brained Gals? *s*
You are good getting in early, redwork is so relaxing to do. Keep going, it's going to be a fabulous quilt one day.
You've got a good start on your Santa quilt, I think you'll be done in plenty of time. Wouldn't this look nice hanging in your front entrance.
I wish I could stitch like that.
Hello! I'm working on these, too! I have 11 1/2 Santas finished. Drop by and take a look (you'll have to search for them, I guess - I haven't posted about them in a while).
