I Can't Stop!
(they are like potato chips - snicker)
These blocks are so much fun to make - 15 out of 32 are finished! WooHoo!!!! I think I need to stop showing these to you - bet you're bored. I'll show them again when I have all 32 finished. :-)
I hope that you and yours have had a wonderful Memorial Day. My DH is retired from the Air Force and I'm thankful everyday for the sacrifices he made for our country. And, we appreciate all the sacrifices that so many made, as well.
Thanks for stopping by! Come again!
In Friendship!

No not sick of them yet, It's good to see that many together because they look pretty darn nice to me.
I love them! Give Ron a great big thank you hug from us! I'm so glad you are having so much fun. :)
They are wonderful, I love the fabrics in them!! I hate to admit it but I too have had to ask the hubby for help with directions!
Who could get tired of seeing stars? They are just gorgeous. Glad to hear that you are having fun making them - keep on going - your almost half-way there!
Heck no, it never bores me to see nice quilt blocks. Your blocks are really nice, glad your having fun with them. At the rate your going you'll be done in a couple of days.
Hi Darlene,
you sound like you are having so much fun with this block...
Darlene those blocks look great especially when you see them all together like that.
Don't you love working on something that is delicious as potato chips? :o)
I'm from a proud Marine family.
Darlene they are gorgeous...please keep sharing them with us...they are so inspiring. My dad was in the Air Force...I am an old Air Force brat...and loved every minute of it.
I'm in no way bored, Darlene. Keep them coming because they are definitely an inspiration.
My older brother was a Marine and served in Vietnam. A BIG thank you to all our enlisted personnel past and present.
I just love those blocks! Your fabrics are great!

I love those blocks! I even have a lot of those same fabrics here. Are you making a bed size quilt?
Keep 'em coming. They're gorgeous!
I am not bored!
Love the blocks...isn't it fun when you absolutely love the block you're making...I completely know the feeling!
Those are great little quilt blocks. I just found a little block that I want to really do using up my civil war scraps. Similar to that block - but different. I can imagine they are fun to make up and mix and match fabric.
Good to hear your mum is doing better. It is always nice to go away but it is nicer to come home again!
Wow you are almost half way done!!!! And I'm not sick of seeing them, so please keep posting your progress!
These are sooo beautiful! Love them! Look forward to see what you're making of them!
Happy sewing,
Laila
I don't think they're boring at all. They look great and they're going to make a wonderful quilt.
Keep a'goin and send any leftovers to me ???? huh, wudja, wudja, wudja?

Don't stop showing them . I love looking at blogs, especially primitive blogs that show projects it gets me more motivated to get my things done.

Mmm, yesss! Reminds me of some of the blocks I have in my "Sallie's Quilt" which is just waiting to be pulled together but I keep getting distracted.
Great color placement. Nice contrasts.
Isn't it super fun when a quilt becomes addicting. Sometimes I've made projects I couldn't wait to finish and other times I was sad to sew my last block. Fun.
I love the use of the darker fabrics for the block corner squares. This will go together in a sensational way! Tell us about the fabric you are using.
These are pretty stars, and the colors are just fabulous.
I love them. You have a great eye for fabrics.
Lovely stars Darlene :-)
