Loving Those Stolen Moments!

I've had all the pieces parts for this project languishing in a huge zip lock bag for a couple of months. I found it and set it aside while digging in my closet for the white tone on tone fabric for my Bees Knees project. As I was working on the Bee Knees project this project kept calling out to me ----- so I thought 'what the heck' - LOL! It took me a while to get my head wrapped around this block - I mean look at all the pieces! I've got a ton of worrisome stuffus cluttering my head so I enlisted the assistance of my Sweetie. I felt like a child needing help with a word problem in my math homework (remember those word problems? Ugh!!!) LOL It was a huge DUH moment but once I had one block assembled I was good to go. snicker! I have 27 more blocks to make but each block is a new adventure so I'm having a ton of fun!

I hope that you're finding a few stolen moments to play with your needle and thread!

I appreciate your visits - come again soon - until then I remain...................

In Friendship!

p.s. thank you, Sweetie for being my hero and coming to my rescue! ;-)

If two trains are travelling in opposite directions...one going 57 mph and one going 72 mph...what is the exact moment of impact? My answer was always if they're dumb enough to head towards each other they deserve to crash!

Sorry got side tracked. Love your stars. They look a bit like Ohio Stars.

The star blocks look very nice together and looks to me like you got it going good! Stolen moments seem to be all I get anymore and it sure makes for slow going on projects.

Way to go, Darlene! It sounds like you're UFOing and busting all at the same time!

Very good, Darlene! You underestimate yourself sometimes. You really do very good stitching.

Great star blocks. Good for you for getting them out and playing.

Nice blocks, can't wait to see the finished quilt. I've been also doing some sewing lately. Sometimes all you need is a friend to help you out with the quilt instructions and then a lightbulb goes on in your head.

Your star blocks are awesome, Darlene. I think as soon as I get my swap gifts 'put to bed', I'm going to tackle a quilt with a million pieces as well. I feel the urge...now I just have to 'steal' a couple of million moments. (wink)

Never mind "stolen moments"... I think you might have to worry about some "stolen blocks"! They're gorgeous. I want them!

If you put them in a box and mail them to me right away, nobody will get hurt. :)

I am getting in some blog reading after being away and you certainly know how to make the most out of those stolen moments...love what you've been doing. I hope there is some relief from the heat soon; my DH is leaving in the morning for Mesa.
