Miss Rosie Cover Girls
*
A couple of months ago Carrie of Miss Rosie's Quilt Co fame contacted Carol (aka Brown Quilt 4 Me) and I to ask if we'd be interested in making two versions of one quilt pattern. Yes, yes and yes! ;-)

I used a fat quarter bundle of Garden Flowers by Blackbird Designs for Moda and Carol used Simple Abundance Honey Buns by Bonnie & Camille for Moda.

Carol has been referring to us as Miss Rosie Cover Girls - LOL - thank goodness we were not required to wear bikinis. LOL (be afraid, be very afraid)

Here's a picture of my version and Carol will post hers on her blog soon. (she's visiting her cute grand children for a few days)

I love this quilt - it has a very vintage feel; like something found in an attic trunk. Huge sigh!!
Carrie, thank you so much for inviting me to do another quilt for you and it's fun to be a Miss Rosie Cover Girl with my good friend, Carol. :-)

I appreciate your visit - please stop again soon.

In Friendship!

Congratulations! Your work is gorgeous!
It feels loving but not old, with that dusty(colour not lack of cleaning) way!

Another winner for sure, Darlene. Anything with a vintage look to it just tugs at my heartstrings.

Have you started saving your change yet? I'm waiting! *wink*

Wow, Ashcombe is a beauty, Congratulations!

I think you could use any style or color combination for this project and get a lovely quilt.

Would you say this project was fast and easy, fun but took some time, or troublesome and time consuming?

I'm hoping for fast and easy, but it's so pretty I'd pretty much go with troublesome if I had to!

Thanks for sharing!

It is so neat to see how one pattern can be changed so easy. You are definitely worthy of Cover Girl status. Perhaps you should change your blog name!
