Week end in Review!

Friday brought some wonderful surprises! :-)

For Mother's Day flowers from my daughter, Kris and a Sony Reader from sweet hubby, Ron. Woohoo!!!

Saturday I finished the Big Schnibble X-Rated flimsy. The scrappy piano key border makes the quilt top pop and sing (don't you think?).
Sunday - Time with sweet Little Blue - my Netbook. I was sitting on the couch with my cup of coffee flavored with Vanilla Caramel creamer - YUM - going through all the blogs on my blog roll leaving Happy Mother's Day messages. And, then it happened - Little Blue died :-( OH NO!!!!!! My hubby tried to revive Little Blue but sadly it was gone to Netbook Heaven.

Then hubby tried to get me set up with his HUGE lap top (I was really missing Little Blue) but things were not right - I kept losing my internet connection. Maybe it was a sign that I spend way too much time on the computer. No, that can't be it! LOL

I hope you'll accept my apology if I didn't get by your blog to wish you a Happy Mother's Day - you were in my thoughts!

On a happier note - I wasn't able to sit on the couch with Little Blue or the BIG Lap Top so instead I did some stitching. :-) I'll share later.

Happy Monday - have a fabulous day. Thanks for stopping by!

In Friendship!

Sweet scrappy top! Great border.

Lucky DS (computer science student) was able to revive my netbook when DH
knocked it out cold and I thought it was a goner! I know exactly how you feel!

I love the flowers and the quilt is gorgeous. What white fabric do you use for the quilt?

Sandy Gervais......what a perfect pattern for that family of fabric, I LOVE Big X!

Happy Belated Mothers Day to you, your tulips are lovely.

I'll be eager to hear what you think of your reader, I've been toying with the idea of getting one of those things, everyone makes them these days!

I'll be very interested in how you like your reader. I've looked at them and just don't know what I think of not holding a book. Silly huh!

I really like the border on your quilt. It frames it nicely. It is such a pain when computers stop working. Hope you can get things going again soon.

Do you think we will some day be able to load quilt books onto a reader? Food for thought.

Goodbye Little Blue. I'm not so sure that your quilt is popping and singing - but probably popping and playing a little tune - ha ha ha ha - I crack me and the piano key border up. LOL Pretty quilt.

Is little blue being repaired or being replaced? Love your X-Rated quilt. The piano key border really does make the quilt, you're right. Nice flowers too. What's your next sewing project?

Sorry to hear about Little Blue, but the X-Rated top looks great! I have finished reading my Schnibble times two book cover to cover and just need to decide which quilt to make as soon as I finish a few more UFO's. They are all great.
