#12 - Spin City with Park Ave.
*
Seems appropriate that this quilt would be the final quilt in my Big Schnibble parade. Why? This self-challenge has left my head spinning. :-)
*
I had a fat quarter bundle of Park Ave but no additional yardage for the inner border. I found some yardage from Gingham Rose by Moda - not perfect but it works.
*
I'll be back tomorrow to wrap up my Big Schnibble parade.

I just realized that the quilt numbers coordinate with the date; the 12th Schnibble on the 12th of August. I love Park Avenue and it's beautiful in the Spin City pattern. Thanks for the parade I enjoyed it very much.
It suits that the spinning would be today because everything is spinning around here!
Gorgeous as usual!!
I couldn't help but notice Carol's comments with the dates. She's right...did you plan that? My friend celebrated her 55th birthday on 8-9-10 and was born in 55. Quite the odd day number wise. Ok..back to your post...Hee! Loving Park Avenue and have always liked Spin City...lucky me has set aside some Park Avenue....I might be a copy catter someday.
Thankfully my book arrives next week! I am going to be sad when you stop posting these.
Another beauty!!! I think the small border works wonderfully to frame the quilt. I love it. I can't wait to see the parade. Hugs...
I'm so sad that the Schibble-palooza is almost over but I sure enjoyed all the eye candy!
Oh I love Park Ave~ so much that I'm working on a project with it right now! :-) Your Spin City looks great. I loved the parade too. :-)
Park Avenue looks smashing in that pattern Darlene!
Who ever thought a "One-Man (woman) Parade" could be wonderful?
Thank you for sharing with us.
I have watched anxiously every day to see your latest Schnibbles quilt....and have decided I'm going to have to have that book. :) I've loved them all and am amazed that you've reached your goal! blessings, marlene

Are their fireworks after the parade? Another pretty schnibble.

Oh, I'm sad that it's over! Looked forward to seeing something new everyday. Beautiful projects and completed so quickly!
I LOVE IT! I think this is best one...I think?!?! LOL!
I like the Spin City pattern. It looks so complicated with all the movement and pattern. Pretty, pretty thing!
Back of the book, eh? Truly an accomplishment to reach this goal!!!
This was a really cool goal!!!! and you now have some great quilts. I've tried doing this with my cook books, but that never seemed to happen.
Another beautiful quilt. Just look at how many tops you have ready for quilting. Maybe this can be your winter projects. (grin) Winona
Beautiful as always, Darlene. Love visiting your blog!
You did it...Hooray!!! Congratulations on completing your Schnibbles challenge. All of your quilts are beautiful. Now you can relax and enjoy them! Thanks for sharing the photos of your quilts!
What an amazing journey watching all these quilts parade by. Glad you had the time and energy to do it. Now it's time to quilt them -yes???
Thanks for sharing all these Schnibbles with us - I had seen the name crop up but had not seen any of them and it's been quite eye-opening! You have a great treasure in all of these!!
What a 'furious finale'. I think I love your version of Spin City even more than the original quilt in the book. So well done!
Oh, pretty! You have done such a wonderful sewing through this book, I just love to see what you are up to next!
This is one of my favorite quilt patterns. I like how you reversed the light/dark in some of the blocks!
ANOTHER GORGEOUS QUILT! Applause, Applause, Applause! What an inspirational parade! Thanks for brigthening my day with all these beauties!!! More applause, standing room only - APPLAUSE, APPLAUSE - can ya hear them? Way to go Darlene!

Thanks for the show and tell of all the quilts, I have really enjoyed it. Now I just need to wait (not very patiently) until it is available here!
I purchased "Schnibbles Times Two" on our vacation trip. Some good quilts in it.
