#5 - Bennington enjoys the 12 Days of Christmas
The first time I saw 12 Day of Christmas by Kate Spain for Moda I was instantly smitten. I'm receiving the Designer Mysery blocks every month from The Fat Quarter Shop featuring The 12 Days of Christmas but I wanted to do something to be enjoyed this Christmas. The colors are vivid, bright and refreshing. I used the snowflake white tone-on-tone for the background and it does look a bit 'flat' but I believe it'll come alive when it's quilted.
Another huge thank you for your stopping by and your sweet comments and compliments. I appreciate YOU.

Darlene: I am loving the "quilt show"! Please don't stop. You've inspired me to make a few of the schnibbles quilts for myself! Thanks!!!!!
Perfect for Christmas! This is such a fun and happy Christmas line.
Beautiful, I love this pattern. I made this one and now I am "hand quilting" it for myself!
It is such a wonderful, happy Christmas quilt! I LOVE it! Can't wait for Hot Cross!

I love bow ties set in a circle. Another pretty one.
I think you're right, the quilting will bring the white alive. Quilting makes a difference for how the quilt looks when done. Love the bright fresh colours.
That is the pattern I made for Carrie's book! I love it in the Christmassy fabric. It is such fun to see your parade of projects from the book.
I really love all the big schnibbles you are making. I am just working with 12 days too, but I am going with a blackbackground.
Love it! I'm making a 12 Days quilt for this Christmas too...because the Designer Mystery one won't be finished in time!
What can I say other than you're amazing! Another beautiful creation.
I hope that you're coming up for air once and food in a while...or should I have written food first?
Love it! Kim was trying to talk me into this line for my next Christmas quilt. Can't quite decide, but yours is adorable. Can't wait for tomorrow :).
What a bright, fun, cheery Christmas quilt !
Yet another piece of eye-candy to enjoy.
oh that's so nice! Looking forward to tomorrow's quilt!
Another winner! Such a happy Christmas quilt~ thanks for the show!! Now I need to sew!! LOL
Cute! Snowflakes in the centers would look so nice don't you think?
I love the way you challenged yourself to make all the quilts in the Schnibbles book. This is one great looking quilt!!! Seeing your quilts makes me want to make them all too.
Lucky you - two Twelve Days of Christmas quilts. I love the line too! This Schnibble is very cute!
This is the bestest one yet!!!
I LOVE IT!!!!!
WOW - gorgeous, I can see why you had to use those fabrics! Love them. Can't wait to see this one quilted!
Those white areas are just crying out for some lovely quilted feather wreaths in them I reckon.
I don't think it looks flat at all! What a lively quilt!!
You are KILLING me. This is another beauty.
Well, what can I say? Beautiful!!!!

Oh I love this fabric! And you're doing the BOM!?!
I thought about that project long and hard, but decided I didn't need to start another UFO!
