In Friendship!

I need to find time to quilt these little ones or my stack of small quilt flimsies will be as big as my stack of large quilt flimsies :-)Three small quilts using monthly kits I've received from The Temecula Quilt Co.
Yummy!!!
I've been receiving monthly kits for small quilts from The Temecula Quilt Co for longer than I can remember. When they arrive I admire them and then toss them in my 'to be done someday bin'. I'm going to sort through the bin and get busy - I have some ideas to decorate my home with these little quilts. :-)
Thank you for popping by to visit with me - come again soon.
Last week I showed you my Strawberry Fields Jelly Roll cut and ready to sew. At the end of the day I had a small pile of 2 1/2" squares, three empty bobbins, an empty spool of thread, a partial flimsy (just need to sew the rows together) and a huge smile on my face. :-)
This pattern is called "Shortcake" by Cluck, Cluck, Sew - I think I'm the last person in blogland to discover her sweet patterns. You can order Allison's patterns from her in PDF and have them in your mailbox before you know it. Awesome customer service!

2. How many quilts are in my red cabinet?5. What's our dog's name? :-)
Answer all five questions and you're eligible to win this QUILTS banner made by Ivonne of The Crackling Crows.
Winner will be announced Saturday evening!
Fabric requirements have been posted on their respective blogs and next week they will post the cutting instructions. The idea of this quilt along is to enjoy the journey - keep it simple - no pressure - just fun! My attention span is not very good these days I hope I don't lose interest before I even select fabric. LOL
I've really enjoyed spending time with my needle and have started to feel the stirrings to do some sewing. I have some old exciting projects and some new exciting projects - what to do? Any thoughts or ideas????? LOL

Here she is coming into Darlene's home and she stayed like that for a few days because Darlene was full of emotion.
This morning she was finally uncovered, opened up and set up in the entry way of Darlene's home - a place of honor. Darlene was full of anticipation hoping that one day soon she'd do a little sewing in honor of her grandmother, Hope but sadly the machine is in bad shape - she needs some serious TLC.
One of Darlene's favorite memories is the flip drawer on the front of the cabinet - how cool is that??? LOL *
I haven't threaded a needle, cut a piece of fabric or even walked into my sewing room in over a week - sigh! Obviously not making best use of my free time - such silliness. *
