PUMPKIN HILL #4, #5, & #6

I've been a busy appliquer and having so much fun! I know I keep saying that but it's so true. Never in my imagination would I have guessed that I would be enjoying this so much. I keep asking myself why I waited so long to jump into applique and have finally decided that the time was just not right. Everything in it's time!
I only have two more blocks to applique and then I have to finish the final touches on the blocks - embroidery and such. So, there's still alot of work to be done.
I've been spending so much of my free time with this applique that I'm neglecting my sewing machine and I'm starting to go through withdrawals - LOL - it's time to think about piecing a top. I keep wishing for more hours in a day or that 8th day of the week - "someday".

I will be back later to address everyone's wonderful comments - I appreciate them very much!

Hee hee - that's what happens when one discovers the fun of "applique". I did next to nothing last year that didn't involve appliqué. I'm so glad you plunged in and took the chance. You said you aren't doing needleturn. What method are you using? Whatever it is, it obviously works beautifully for you.

Oh my goodness! I love your blocks! You are setting record speed. Are you sewing them by hand? They are beautiful! Does it require a lot of prep work? I can't wait to see it all put together!

Keep it up! Kim :-)

Wow, are you making one block a day? You are really speedy! I like to do applique too. But piecing is fun too.

Owww, I saw this pattern and fell in love with it but resisted. I already have sooo many applique things to do! But Yummy!

It is addictive and now if I sit and watch tv or anything it seems BAD to not have something to sew in my hands!

Aww that squirrel block is too cute for words - too bad in reality they really are a nuisance! At least here in Washington, DC - where we have normal & black versions (I hear there are white versions too...), I Teaxs, they were more of a novelty - or maybe I was just young.
