PUMPKIN HILL - PART DEUX

Block #2 is done! Well, I still need to do some details - poor little owl still needs his eyes and feet. I'm thinking about using buttons and beads for his eyes. I'll decide that later.

On Saturday I took a P3 Applique class again - decided that I needed a refresher. Same quilt store but different teacher so the class was definitely different from the first class I took well over two years ago. I came away "refreshed" and more excited.

It's time to prep Block #3 and it would probably be a good idea to prep several more. This is a good time to do it because it's the All Star break for baseball, so no games at night till later this week.

Thought for today: Do something today to make your heart smile!

Gratitudes:
a husband that understands, supports and encourages my obsession and addiction (quilting)
caffeine free diet coke (so refreshing)
A/C (yes again - I live on the Surface of the Sun)

The block is great. I see no problem with taking a class again, especially when there is a different teacher, because with different ways of doing applique, and different teaching styles, etc., I'm sure you will learn a lot.

I hve been catching up on your post, since I've been gone. I can't believe how much you have gotten done! Great job! You have inspired me to learn this technique, and start my Heirloom Stiches. I always look forward to seeing what you have done- thanks for the inspiration!
