I'm in Love!

I've been doing a ton of handwork - applique and grandmother's flower garden blocks and have continued to struggle with threading the needle. (no it's not my eyesight - it's the durn needle - LOL). Anyway, yesterday my DH went to the closest quilt store and picked up one of these needlethreaders for me.

Oh my goodness - it was love at first threading! If you've struggled while threading your needle you simply must run (not walk) to you nearest quilt store and buy one of these. It's a little pricey - $15 - this is why I kept resisting it - but worth every penny. Oh, it's by Clover!

Thought for today: Simplify your life and enjoy every minute!

Gratitudes: Clover Needlethreader; Clover needlethreader; Clover needlethreader and Clover Needlethreader

So what did you really think of the Clover needlethreader? Be honest now.

I love it too! My first one didn't work and I was so made I spent $15. Then my friend got one and it worked great so I figured it must be mine, I got a new one and bingo! I love it!

I keep passing that little gadget up....

Do you think it would work with perle cotton?

I am not usually a "gadget" person, but so many have raved about this little gem. I find in the evening I have more and more trouble getting the needle threaded in the diminished light. Must be time *s*

I never sew without this! I have inspired many other sewers to buy one-it won't work on some type of needles but works on the ones I use-glad your dh bought it for you!

I think it is a must.... Glad you have one. The information that comes with it explains the differences in the shape of the needle eye. That is why some people experience problems. It always works with Clover needles but not all brands. I will work with my Roxanne straw needles when I applique.

Would you believe I've had one like this for a couple years and have yet to try it? I won it in the monthly drawing on the yahoogroups longarm group. I guess something in me keeps refusing to admit that my eyes have gotten so bad. It's bad enough that everything blurs after an hour or two or appliqué and I have to let my eyes rest for awhile before I stop seeing double.

I have this needle threader and it is wonderful - mine was a gift from a quilting friend - I keep it in my little applique bob the builder box

Now that you have your needlethreader hopefully you'll be able to stitch away as much as you want.

I've seen these but I am so used to using a needle threader that I haven't bought one. I use the littel tthingy you poke through the eye and then pull the thread back.
