My Red Cabinet

When I first started blogging I shared a picture of my red cabinet in the entry way of my home. I searched high and low for a cabinet like that one just to display my quilts. So there are 50 quilts in that cabinet. Patti asked me to share pics of those quilts so here are the first two - periodically I'll take pictures of them to share! Both are just simple and fun patterns - the quilts make me smile! :-)

Gratitudes:
Overnight thunderstorm (flashes of lightening in my skylights)
Finding border fabrics on-line for my Anniversary Stars quilt
The bunny that runs between the house next door and ours

They look like pretty nice scrapbuster patterns so I might just borrow your ideas when I get to that step in my stash reduction.

Beautiful quilts - the kind I love to put out in the spring. Don't know why spring and pastels just go together in my mind. I may steal your idea for the setting of the 16-patch blocks - it would be a great way to finish my current leader-ender project.

What a great idea. I have some older quilts that I need ot share too. Don't forget to share their stories too. (what inspired it, why you chose those colors, etc.)

I really like the first quilt - I wasn't too sure why at first, and then it hit me, I'm doing the same pattern with some handdye fabrics. Thank you for sharing the picture, it reassures me that I've made the right choice in choosing that pattern! :)

Ahh, Show and Tell. This is going to be fun to see all of those quilts. I went back and looked at your cabinet. What a great piece.

Definitely good stash busters. Either would be great for leader/ ender projects and our children's charity quilts. Simple but dramatic.

And they are both pretty quilts. Looks like they both have similar colors / prints, but they look so different from each other because of the patterns.

Both quilts are very pretty. Love the colors you used. Did you use your stash to make the quilts?
Can't wait to see more of your quilts from the cabinet.

I had to go back and look at that cabinet again. I still go "WOW" when I see it...and then see all of the quilt tops spread out on your bed that just need quilted. A-mazing!! :o)

Another beautiful quilt design which has caught my eye - it helps me a lot to see a quilt in fabrics which I like to use. I have already transferred the design of the first quilt into EQ - your quilts are really lovely.
