(have ya missed me?)
It's been a week full of a whole lot of nothing and then some. :-) That doesn't make sense, does it? LOL
The highlights of my week:
Dogsitting "Buster the Dog" for three days
Finished "The Night Before Christmas" stitchery
Quilted and bound my Secret Santa gift
Quilted and bound my Trees on the Table topper
Stitched and made a cute "Fresh Baked Cookies" pillow
Started Christmas Decorating but I have a couple of things working against me (I was not born with the Decorating Gene and several years ago all (yes all) of our Christmas decorations were stolen so the desire to decorate is very not very strong.
I don't usually decorate with a theme however this year I couldn't resist decorating our kitchen in a "Fresh Baked Cookies" (Gingerbread Men) theme and I'm loving it!
I decorated two trees in my kitchen with mini cookie cutters and mini cooking utensils.
Don't want to bore you so I'll share more pictures later this week! :-)I promise to return tomorrow to post winners of my "Rant Surprise Giveaway".

I love those kitchen trees and the cute little gringerbread stitchery under them. Mmmmm! love the smell of fresh baking cookies in the kitchen.

LOL Darlene, I think you have done great! I love those little trees. I was also born without the decorating gene. In fact my Christmas tree is prelit and predecorated and all I do is put it up and my daughter fluffs it and voila it's Christmas LOL.....For some reason our stockings are missing so that is giving me a kick in the rear to make new stocking for us.

The gingerbread man is soooo cute. Perhaps I should find my gingerbread men I started to applique some years ago and finish them :) Have to look for them LOL

We left all our decorations in GA at the house for the kids. I'll get a small artificial tree and a few things when I get back from VA to make the apartment somewhat festive.
Your decorating looks great! I always have some sort of theme in my head when I'm decorating. Or maybe those are just the voices?

I haven't gotten around to decorating, but I have seen so much to inspire me, including your lovely vignette! I'm sorry all your decorations were stolen - who would do such a dastardly thing? It gives you a chance to get all new Christmas treasures!

I was in Kohl's last night and when I saw the line of gingerbread dishware, I sure thought of you! Check them out if you have a Kohl's in your area.
It looks to me like you've been very busy. I love the gingerbread man pillow and kitchen trees are such a great idea, they look wonderful all decorated.
