Endings and Beginnings!

Amanda, Bertha, Dora and Charlotte have left the building. WooHoo!!!!
This morning I delivered the final thirteen charm quilts to the girls from Me & My Sister Designs and as I drove away I breathed a HUGE sigh of relief. I'm so glad to have that project behind me. Whew!!!!!
Edit: the total number of charm quilts made..................52!

Tuesday evening I finished the last three blocks of my Polka Dot Girls stitchery project. Now I need to figure out what fabric(s) I'm going to use to assemble the blocks. You must visit Wendy's blog to see this project in a variety of colors rather than just one color. It's going to be stunning!

I fell in love with the Prairie Paisley line of fabric from Moda and purchased a lone charm pack a few weeks ago. I've been looking at this charm pack trying to decide what project to make with this line of fabric. There are many projects being shown around blogland but I've been searching for something a bit different.

I'm super excited because I found a wonderful pattern that's going to work wonderfully with these prints. I managed to get one block done this evening but I'll be working on this project diligently over the next few days. I love this first block!!!!

During the past few weeks while I've been sewing a plethora of charm quilts I've been dreaming of future projects. Fun mail has been arriving with lots and lots of goodies and treasures. You'll notice Water's Edge, Dandelion Girl, Maypole, Fresh Squeezed and Friends and Flowers - yes I'm a major Moda groupie! LOL
I'm anxious to spend time at my sewing machine working on projects for me. :-)
Thanks for continuing to read my blog and I appreciate all your comments and words of encouragement. Thimbles and Joy are still working on their top secret project so stay tuned for their announcement.
In Friendship!

Whoa girl....52 charm quilts that's amazing...I wouldn't have the stamina to do what you just did...congrats on getting them all done.

I've been looking at the same pattern you did your Prairie Paisley...I can't believe we are on the same wave length, your's look so good. That's why I'm still procrastinating, I couldn't decide on the fabric.

Would you look at that pile of goodies...where to even start. I know we'll see something inspiring soon.

52 charm quilts, oh my gosh. I'm surprised you're not suffering from burn out. So does this mean your back in the land of blogging? Lovely parcels of fabric goodness you have there.

Congratulations on the finish!! Did you say 13!! No wonder you had to get Joy and Thimbles to post.

That is a lovely little block from the Prairie Paisley fabric. How big is the block? How small all those little squares? It is so hard to tell in pictures.

Have a great weekend and relax a bit - let Thimbles do the cooking tomorrow!!
