Moving On................

Thank you so much for all your insightful, kind, heartfelt and sweet comments in my last post. My friend has been laid to rest and I know she's "piecefully" sewing in Heaven.

This section of the Primitive Four Seasons stitchery project arrived Friday afternoon. I immediately traced it and stitched it while watching the baseball game. Assembled the block on Saturday morning and now I'm ready for the June block. :-) It feels good to be keeping up. WooHoo!

Sunday morning I assembled another Prairie Paisley block. I'm really excited about this project but can't seem to find a few minutes to just sew. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! :-)
Thanks for visiting - come again real soon!
In Friendship!

I love watching your stitcheries progress, that's going to be a fun quilt to have around. Your block is looking great.

Love the stitchery. I am desperate to have a go at one of these when I can lay my hands one one. In my neck of the woods there isn't much choice.

Hello Darlene,
My name is Pamela and I live in Melbourne, AUstralia, I've been looking at your blog for hours now and love all your quilts and stitcheries, but I did love the pincushions which you'd mailed out to a few people. My question is do you have a pattern for that as I adored it and can see it sitting beside me as I sew.
keep up the blogging, it's fantastic.
all the best from Pamela in Melbourne.

I'm just catching up Darlene -- so sorry to hear about your friend. I love your new Prairie Paisley project -- I like this block even better than the first one you showed. Can't wait to see the whole thing.

Hi, Sorry about your friend and the meanness of unkind people. I really enjoy your blog, its a warm friendly space! You are tempting me at the moment though....I'm itching to sign up for that BOM...lol! Continue being happy and kind!

Just stumbled onto your blog, as I was looking at the Stash Quilts Ring. I am astounded that some people could be so unbelievably rude. Who made them the quilt police? I believe that working with one's hands is a gift, and one that should be enjoyed. Who is to say it only counts if the work is "original". There is no such thing as too many quilts . . . as tops or finished projects. My condolences on the loss of your friend. Don't let those nitty-picky hateful people bring any distress to you!
